[Hydra] VF4 in Florida, what a wonderful thing!

IMO whoever wins the most is usually considered the better player. That's the way it is. Chibita didn't win the Japanese nationals yet he is still respected as a great player. Indeed probably the best player but, he didn't win that tourney. Congratulations to the guy that did.

What we had on sunday wasn't a real tourney anyway.

I'll tell you right now that if you want to play me a hundred times when the PS2 version comes out Enk you're not even going to come close to 50/50 and you damn well know it. You're good enough to beat me any given fight though and I respect you for that. You did beat me on sunday and I respect you for that.

If you guys want to treat it as some kind of victory go right ahead. It's actually a good idea. Because with the home release just around the corner that might have been one of the last times you're ever going to beat me. What do you think about that?

All I know is that The Dude won as far as FL is concerned and the rest of you lost. You don't get respect until you've earned it during a tourney in my book; until then you're just an ass that likes to post about how good he is on a bulletin board. But to each their own I say.

FeixaQ won. I didn't see Enk beat him more than once...maybe twice all night. I'm not too worried over who the best in FL is. We aren't that good yet.

For now it's The Dude. I don't care if I beat The Dude or not. I respect the way he plays and that respect is mutual.

Hehe whether you've noticed or not, despite me saying I don't play. I obviously do! I just don't play as much as I used to. Durrrrrh, what I find amusing is that I can still beat most of you and I hardly play it at all. Way to funny in my book. Once you get it at home you better not come to Rockys and lose to me at all. It just doesn't make sense.

I love the animosity though, lets me know you still care.

 

That's cute. If you notice, this started off nice and there was no bs at the tourny. I even heard Enk and IMF actually talking strategy. Then Enk posts like a jackass and Unc chimes in with no relavence whatsoever. Just leave me out of whatever shit you talk from now on please. It might be different if we were friends, but we're not. If you have such a problem with folks conversing over a forum, then I will gladly let you know my thoughts in person if you remind me.

 

Oh do I need an invitation to talk about a tournament? Or to post my thoughts on who I think the better players are? I think not.

Welcome to the Florida threads, if you do a search you'll find maybe 4 more threads full of senseless shit talking and personal insults. Get used to it. Or just don't bother reading the threads.

 

I'm sorry, did you miss my point? The point is that everything was cool at the tourny and even after. Until your buddy decides to "talk his shit" amongst a thread of compliments. He couldn't even say anything good. There is a point where I can't even take it in jest anymore. It just wasnt cool is all I'm saying.

 

Just consider their smack talking (as annoying as it is, even to me) as something they use to just keep pushing each other to play more and maybe even a tool to get better. As far as I can tell, they all sound like they get along (at least somewhat) in person, just that online they try picking on each other. Guess it's their way of doing things... Their way of priming the pump, etc...

Correction, Stoopid. IMF was the first to talk smack, he'll be the first to admit to it, then it was Blonde_One, then me then Unc, Then YOU. I wasn't going to respond to it, but seeing as money is on the line in the next tournament I thought it would be in my best interest to keep my annoying edge til then. I wanted to beat The_Dude within an inch of his life, and I almost did, in front of everyone like I did to you, IMF, Blonde_One, and everyone else except for Chris, but I didn't leave much margin for error on my part and I paid the price. He won fair. Even if I had won 3 straight against stompoutloud in my last match the outcome wouldn't have been any different.. It just would hav elooked better on paper as a tie but since he won the match against me he would've taken 2nd anyway.

If IMF was to think that I, the great Enk, could beat him more than he could beat me then where would the challange be? He can talk all the smack he wants to about home system challanges that haven't even taken place yet, but we will see once a hori stick and milk crate are in my possesion. I'll be 10th Dan before the weekend is over. Actually, an other correction, your sig is what happens to you when you play me, only quicker. No bullshit!!

 

Actually chanchai we genuinely don't like each other. However you can look at us as an icon of how the world should be. Take 5 guys or so, who care nothing for the others philosophies or beliefs and verbalize their disdain without fear of retribution or physical violence. We symbolize what this great country stands for. We play games in peace and harmony with each other despite our differences.
