Horis' stick's are prefered by common sense. They are the best for fair VF4 fighting. Pads, and Namco type sticks can make playing VF4 alot easier in the button configuration by setting up other buttons to do multi combination button execution, which can make tech-rising easier, spod, stunner, shazenho, ect... I'm not complaining, or naming names, just pointing it out.

The only guys using Hori's would be Myself, IMF, Jake, and Ghostdog. I Don't follow. The controllers are the only peripheral that I'll let get away with multi-function buttons. What kind of "Woman" would play with a stick and have multi-function buttons. Everyone needs a stick!!!

    Whats a Namco type stick?

I'll see you at Pab's thursday enk =).

It's like your stick, only it says Manco and the buttons feel cheaper...

Imf, your post made me laugh so hard because that was what I was thinking! lol. I represent the control pad game player for Vf4. Anyways, thanks for the laugh Imf! lol.

I like your sig stomp. Lao-tze right? We work with being, but non-being is what we use.

Yes, Imf, very good. I didn't want to write the entire chapter passage and take up space. lol. Yeah, let's see.. if I remember... 30 wheels on a spoke, but it's the center of the wheel that makes it stable......gosh, it's been a while. can't remember any of them by heart. lol.

It's not the size of the buttons, its how you press them. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

It shouldn't even be allowed on the pad either. Why? Because it's simply an unfair advantage. Now I have no problem beating SOL when he uses the pad, but that's just because he is less skilled than I am, not because the pad is inferior. I just think everyone who's able to should get a VF4 Hori stick. It makes the matches completely fair, and it is the way it was intended to be played. Plus it is used and prefered by top players. There's no excuse not to have one. Am I making sense? How many are you ordering?

I think in the beginning it provides an unfair advantage maybe, but in the end your hands will be so accustomed to the joystick that it won't matter if you had more buttons or less buttons to press.

STick will alway be superior in the fact that the biggest part about competitive VF is pretty much impossible on a pad. Advanced movement techniques and throw escapes are near impossible on a pad.

Huh? Am I missing something here? I didn't know Enkindu still played VF4??? Pads are unfair now? Shoot, why didn't I know that!!? Blondie, you're going to have to start banning them from your gatherings! Now we know where Stomps unreal power comes from...that bastard can TR with one button!!!

But no, you really are at such a major disadvantage when playing on a pad when it comes to OS and SDing that it doesn't even begin to make up for it by programming buttons.

Seriously, where did this come from?

You didn't hear me say I quit playing either now did you? What makes you say that not being able to crouch dash makes up for the ability to do mutiple button presses with one button? You can still crouch dash on the pad, you just can't abuse it like you tekken players like to do, which still isn't a good idea. Pads still have an unfair advantage, but the sticks that you use have an even bigger advantage. Carry on, it's no big deal to me, I'm just stating a fact.

I play everyday, IMF, just not with you. You don't have to conspire against me. I'm going to play good regardless if I make it to every gathering or not. You think Stomp has unreal VF4 power? I played him while using the Pad and nothing he did impressed me. You're twisting my words again, and embelishing, don't do that, it's not healthy for our friendship. I didn't know you were good with Akira. Looking forward to playing you Thursday. As for everyone else.
