    Team Hydra: Remember me?

Damn, it seems like everyone already forgot who I am. I am supposedly also part of Team Hydra, although I do not live in Orlando. It seems like I am pretty much out of the know of everything going on with the rest of my "team."

For instance, I had no idea about this guy from England coming down! Argh...

Enkindu, I'll bet your anime girl against mine that I can beat you in VF4. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

Is there still a gathering at Blonde_One's this Sunday?

Puhleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese! I'll bet my vf4 hori stick against your stick that I can beat you without you winning one round. If you beat me I'll never play vf4 again.

Man do I have the solution for this!

UnC, Enk, since you two are the only ones that want to play for money...WHY DON'T YOU GO PLAY EACH OTHER? FOR MONEY!? And leave the rest of us alone. I mean why do either of you keep wanting to challenge me, Blondie, or, The Dude? It must really eat you up that we don't take you seriously at all. Well I'm sorry, but I don't. If I might make a suggestion, you could find a worthy charity do donate some cash to from time to time if you have to get rid of it that badly. It would prolly make you feel better than just losing it to me.

For the record Enk rarely came out to gatherings and never played me when he did. I've only played him twice since the PS2 version came out and that was at the last OD. Enk lost 2-0. I only had to use 3 moves on you the whole time Enk. Why keep this up?

"If you beat me I'll never play vf4 again."

Sounds good to me, although I will not be betting my stick. That is just stupid considering how hard it was to get. Then there is the fact I won't have a stick anymore if I lose it. /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

I will play you if you come to the next Sunday outing. I am not saying I am good but I think I can give you a run for your money.

Actually I have played Enk for money and all of Team Rox, in more than one game. It's called a tournament being played for money :p I've run over 4 of these. I only wish that the better VF players would play for money that's all, so I can see the same edge come out that I see with the other players. I don't care what anyone says, people play differently when money is on the line. Some say you play more sloppy, others say more defensive, all I know is people are more careful about what they do, and the is undoubtedly more pressure involved..

My question is...will any of you play Enk for money? If not, why? And please don't say it's because you don't want his money. If you didn't want money you wouldn't work. Or some other BS. Honestly do you think you'd play any different if money was on the line?

I'm not even going to try and convince the lot of you to play for money anymore. I actually had my chance at my first attempt at a VF4 tourney and I blew it because....well....I was broke at the time and didn't follow up. But I just like to ask from time to time.

It's just if I have a chance to lose/earn something from playing it makes things more exciting for me. In the game of life I never play it safe, hell, I'm in the entertainment biz and invest in stocks and such regularly. I like taking risks, that's what the money thing does for me. The bigger the risk the bigger the thrill. Hell I'm going to go mess with girlies in Rio De Jinero this year, talk about putting your life on the line!

I guess you all risk your stats going down...I guess. I suppose gaming in and of itself has never been enough for me. The gaming environment however is inventive (in the beginning) and I'm a creative person so it appeals to me.

What money ammount are we talking about giving me a run for? I'm not attending anymore of these gatherings so you'll have to PM me so we can meet up. /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif I still play everyday.

What are you going on about? I beat you with a character that I haven't used in compitition EVER! I beat you, I beat you, I beat you. I'm not trying to crush your pride but whatever you have to say that happened before, after, or during the tournament is irrelavent.

I've mastered Low kick senbon, and senbons period. I know what they do to the opponent and I know how to take advantage of it, which is what I did against you to earn the final hit. I through off your timing, and countered you. it's not that hard to figure out. I wasn't even using my best character against you, nor did I need to. If I had however, you would have still complained, because you have that same quality that all proud players have. You can't admit when you got beat by the better player.

IMF, you talk like you're better than me, you talk down on me, you treat me as though I'm not good enough to compete with you. So I ask you to put your money where your mouth is, or take a long walk of a short pier. I guess you've finally decided. Hope you can swim.

I meant a run for your money figuratively. I am not going to meet with someone I don't know in private and play for money. That is just weird. Maybe you should take up gambling. Let me get you directions to the dog track...

If you want to play me "for fun," I am off on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. Let me know. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

This is pathetic. Blonde_one went to NY to play against people he didn't know. Why are you so chicken? Afraid to back up your words? It's obvious that you're not confident enough to beat me. We could meet at Matt's in Tampa, or at Tampa Lanes the next time I am there. Most likely will be this weekend.

I don't have a problem playing for money in a tournament setting. Right now I can't play for much, maybe a 5er here and there.

First of all I was never serious about playing for money, mainly because I never meant to give off that impression. Second of all, I am far from scared to play you in VF4.

Matt's place seems like an idea, since I know him and he lives close to me. As far as TL goes, why would I subject myself to the torture of the horrid joysticks on that VF4 machine? They are inaccurate pieces of garbage and everyone I know agrees. (talk to coffee_gum)

We can meet at my place or Matt's but I am not going to play for money if based on nothing but the fact that I don't usually gamble and I am not the best at VF by any stretch of the imagination.

I am however, quite good now and would like a chance to play you so I can see your skills. I am off tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday. Bring it on?

Oh, and by the way, if you decide you are not too scared to come play against me, make sure you use "all of your powers," because I don't wanna hear any shit if I beat you.

Let me reword playing "for fun" to playing as a one on one competition. The fun is just a coincidence.

If you want to see my skill then wait on the side like everyone else. If you want your ass kicked then play me. I have fun when I win. I'm pretty sure I know how much skill to use against you. Not much, just like I used against shinjin.

Keep the 5er Jake, maybe you can come to Rockys sometime and waste it playing against me seeing as there is no Dural on the arcade. J/K, I'll glady play you for a 5er here and there. After a good warm-up.

Enkindu is it so hard for you to admit when someone is better than you. I understand you probably where the best at VF at one point. But its not the case anymore. We all have the game at home and can practice a lot. We all have advanced in skill and why you cant see this is beyond me.

But to my point, I really want you to just shut the fuck up, SO ill play you for money. On one condition, regardless of if I lose or not, you stop talking shit about everyone and everything. This means not bragging about your wins, and not making silly exuses when you lose, just take your wins and losses with some fuckin dignity.

So next weekend if your game, ill play you for money(this weekend is mothers day)

Yeah sure, then we can follow the yellow brick road and ask the wizard to grant us a wish or two. You could wish to be better than me at VF4, and I can wish for a trip to the Playboy Mansion. Theres no place like home. Theres no place like home.
