[Hydra] VF4 in Florida, what a wonderful thing!

Acutally, if you guys want to nitpick. I was the first to call it Hydra Team. Then someone stole it and changed it to Team Hydra. So you better put my name on one of those royalty checks!

 

You can count me in for Team Tampa when Soul Caliber 2 comes out. As far as VF, I will stay team Hydra. Maybe we do need a new name. So far it has 2 or 3 founders that aren't even on the team. :-|

 

Well Team Tampa is pimp don't get me wrong but O-town needs is going to have it's own team, to foster some freindly rivalry oh yes, come get some.

 

Hey UnC, are you coming to the gathering this Sunday at Blondie's? I see that you may be going to Philly soon, so I thought you might want to get some matches in before you go. You gotta represent ya know /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

 

Yeah, bring it. We definitely need some good quality rivalry between Tampa/Orlando/Miami for SC2. That's the only way we're going to make any type of impact for that game. As it stands, FL is sorely lacking in Soul Cal competition...we need to change that for SC2. And remember, all the skills that you have in SC will easily transfer over to SC2 (movement has slightly changed, but overall everything is very similar). Practice up! It'll be out in another month!

The "Team Tampa" thing was just a joke. If you guys want to make a team that represents central FL, by all means do it. We'll get Jet and his girl to make some nifty shirts for us. =)

DeathBringa, drop me a PM if you want to get some practice in. As long as I'm not trying to get some stinky on my hang-down, I'm usually down for some SC. BTW, the arcade at University Mall fixed their SC joysticks...they're pretty good now.

Too bad we didn't get any of that good quality rivalry with VF4.

Hey guys, I just got back from Taiwan and damn, it took me forever to read all those posts. Hope you guys had fun playing at Ny and hope you guys had fun playing each other for money and all. I have a car that won't die this time. I can make it Sunday for sure.

 

I wanted to stay longer, but I had a lot of work I need to do so I came back early. I will go back sometime in July. I had a great trip. Thanks for asking imf and Jedi. I did play a lot of virtua Fighter 4 and FV2. I can make it to both Thursday and Sunday.

 

Yeah, FV2 is for the Japanese DC. I heard they were going to convert it over to the ps2. But who knows. I have it on dc and it plays pretty much like the arcade. If only it could actually play online for the Dc, I would probably pay for it to play others.
