Gaishou, sorry but my friend is being a dork and not coming up with the VC copy for you. But I am still persisiting. Yes, if you have a copy of that for the Dc, I would love to get a copy. I can reimburse you with some blank cds or some cash for your time. I will even drive up to Rocky's to get the game.

Unc, hey, I would love to go and check out that thing you are doing. I have two clients in the morning and then a lunch meeting with some a gynochologist (sp?) to get referrals, so I should be available after 2:30pm or so. When is it btw? Oh there's a new Tizok player in town. It's Jedi Fei. He only yells out the moves after he is done beating me. lol. So you have some new competition. lol.

Jake: Damn, your Rock Howard is coming along very nicely. If only we both could just block high from time to time instead of jumping. lol.

Mikey, if you are confirmed to come on sunday, I will go and pick up one of my friend's son who plays Smash brothers. So you have the best of both worlds. So can you confirm?

See you guys on sunday. Next month, there will be two new players coming to the gathering. (hopefully) Blesus is from Tennessee but lives in Orlando when he is not in school. And he will bring a friend too. So it should be lots of fun.

It's not all that bad gaishou, peeps have all lightened up, hell, asides from making a bloody mess at someones place where else could the relationships go? We've already insulted the living shit out of each otehrs sensibilities, and what's golden is that their cool to try other games out.

The main thing is I think we've learned to accept each others roles as far as gameplaying, it's just a matter of having people "to" play at this point. If you want to be silly and play casually fine. If you want grind some bones...fine. If you want to talk about 5 dollar joysticks and nintendo music.....your stomp. It's all good!

Stomp, I dont know if I can confirm yet, but If I can go I'll definitely post it up before hand. I'm hoping my bro can actually take me to the gathering in order to get in some good jacky play. I kinda suck right now, but im hoping to get better soon. I played my bro's Lau a few times and I actually one like.. 3 times and took a few rounds as well, though I dont think he was trying very hard against me. Im still trying to get down throw breaking. Its a little umm.. complicated when you get -right- back into it and are expected to know -everything- when you fight.

But to put things in a nutshell, Yes im -willing- to go and do want to, and if your friends son wants to come and play then im all up for some good comp in melee.

Something wierd happened to me today. I was playing Aoi and she was still a demonlord. I was fooling around in kumite and losing alot, maybe 5 times in a row. I got the disgrace item and when the next map loaded she was a grandmaster instead of a demonlord. I never got a promotion match either.

Should I bring my cube? or is he gonna bring? Ill prob. just bring my controller and memory card. I'll be switchin off from melee to VF every once in a while. More than likely a little more VF than Melee, mainly for the soulcause of "I WANT TO GET BETTER".

Just to let you guys know, Rocky's has Soul Calibur II and is setting it up right now. They said it should be up and running tonight. I would head out there tonight to play but I've already got plans. There's a possibility that I'll be there after work tomorrow night for a few hours of play...but I just don't know how tired I'm going to be.

Anyone planning on going to Rocky's to play?

Mikey, I have a cube. If you are planning on playing smash brothers, you should bring your pad, memory card and the game. I sold my game the other day.

 

Unc, do to reasons beyond my control I have to cancel On OD at my house. WE can do it next week maybe. I forgot I had to do some stuff. Very sorry about this.

 

Alright so my game, memory card, and controller is all? then I'm set man. just need to know whats goin on with my ride situation. Well it looks as if the tech there is having "trouble" with getting SCII to work properly, so I'm not heading out there tonight. There's a possiblity that I'll be going there tomorrow night if they get the game working.

Jedi, no sweat bro, I think I'm done running game gatherings/tournaments, and maybe even gaming in general for the rest of the year...........well we'll see with SC2....but I've been looking at my priorities and well......this just ain't it.
