I miss Vanessa's old look.....

Well, that's why I like playing DoA. Lord knows I'd die to come back looking like Tengu. He's so damn sexy. Or perhaps if I came back wearing Zack's iPod costume... then, then I'd be satisfied.

 

Ehh, I like both looks, although I think the current one is a bit of a racial cop out. She looks more Black/Hispanic mix than straight up African jungle booty. I thought her VF4 look was feminine enough, it's just that people are generally revolted by women with any sort of well-defined musculature. Oh well.

Well they sure as hell toned down Sarah as well.

Maybe some people don't like wimyns who look as if they can fight back *HARD*?

 

I think it's just people don't want to play someone who looks like Joannie Chyna Laurer.

Actually I like her new voice. Rukia from Bleach is just awesome. But you know, maybe the prior voice actress didn't want to take the job again.

 

I miss when Vanessa had character. Now she's just a generic military style character that every game thinks it needs (like Hwoarang's ugly mess 2P costume from Tekken 4 that I never chose).

She only has one costume that isn't military based. What happened to the Vale Tudo theme? Or the black skin? Or the muscles? All these made her interesting. Rubbish... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

 

2P isn't necessarily military. It is more like, as Plague once pointed out (I paraphrase here, don't sue):

I see it along the lines of her hunting zombies in Raccoon city. Hell, her voice is so bad she'd fit in the Resident Evil series very easily.

 

Costume A with the right color choices can also move to Ghetto Rat. I think A is the hottest to be honest with you. Just add the No Military Shirt option along with flame boots and she's a chick in a leather bikini top that wears BDU pants.

 

2P reminds me of a cop/security guard type character, except that she don't need weapons or back to beat you the hell down and arrest you.

3P seems like her jumpsuit/covert mission type of outfit.

1P can be whatever you want. And 4P's her tomboy model getup.

I personally don't have problems with military colors. VF7 sounds like he wants more black and less green.

 

This other thread made me realise that i would like to see how vane fits in a shirt-and-tie outfit. You know, policewoman-style.

Anybody has a doujin of that? If she's (making out) with Lei Wulong (used to be my main when i *gasp* played tekken) in the back of a courtroom i wouldn't mind either...

depending on how tall she 'actually' is i would love this girl.. my last g/f was 6'2", basketall player like me (im 6'5").. im not into little girls.. i like em when they can fight back, get pushy and mean it..

id love to dress her up in Nessa's 1P or 2P suits and get busy.. 3P is more business, less pleasure (which could be just as fun but not as much for her, she wasnt the bondage/domineering type)..
