If Bruce Lee played VF he would just bandwagon jump on whatever character that was considered best.

And you usually don't have to research frame data as that has already been done, you just need to read it Of course, some people are stupid enough to think that learning frame data will some way rob them of their out-of-the-box creative play styles that they never really had. Then there are other people who don't understand that the frames only tell half the story about how a move is.

In short: Knowing as much as possible is good.

 

Myself personally being a JKD practicioner. I feel Bruce himself would use a character that is efficient, simple, but at the same time, flexible and powerful and not predictible.

 

No one prolly wants to hear this but Bruce Lee would have never spent his time playing VF. lol
