Does anyone live in that area? And taking over an arcade is kind of big especially if it's already failing and AI seems to need alot of constant mantenance.

Anyone know if they are selling cabinets?

Scratch that. Catherine got a bunch of work dropped on her today.

i really dont feel like this is a rumour anymore
since summer has ended AI looks pretty dead in the last 2 weeks.
Thanks to EXM, bobby and goatcheeseblues for showing up on a sparse night.

Good games, I think I got alot better that night. Too bad I only got to play Brain once.

I got a chance to talk to the owner and it doesn't look like AI is going to be sold! it was a just misinformation that got leaked.

Seems to be a issue of people not showing up.

Just a suggestion maybe everyone should agree on one day a week.

Having some on Wed others on Thurs can be confusing to people who want to attend

On a personal note I could attend more gatherings if they were earlier. People arriving at 9pm doesn't really help because I have to leave between 9-10

Seems like the official day is now Wednesday.

Catherine and I should be there every other Wednesday. The other weeks I'll be there Thursdays with Glenn to play Guitar Freaks and stay for VF if anyone happens to be around.

ai- wise, a new owner could still well mean the death of the arcade. Lack of repairs comes to mind first, then decreases in new games or any new games at all. Lets just hope for the best.

brian - i can make it by 7, but other people still show up at late 8pm-9pm anyways, something about that socal time. . .

You know, the new owner will probably top that off by going out to the parking lot and slashing your tires.

Ok guys. Even though I only went to AI once, and went to one gathering (which I had TONS of fun at), I am sad to say that my VF days are over for a while. =( I am now in college attending UC Santa Barbara. I can't find any arcades or anything up here. It's really quite depressing.

Haha, I almost shed a tear while passing AI on the freeway on my way up here.

But if anyone plays in my area, I'm definitely down for a game if I can get public transportation to the location.

I'll also try to visit AI on my visits home if possible.
