Jason, lol. Reading comprehension 101, "if you're so inclined" meaning if you really wanted to, you could also do it that way. Again, I agree 236 is my preferred method, but the other inputs are viable.

 

My bad I meant to me 236 k is the preferred method of executing this move. I'm aware of other methods. I was stating as my own opinion. Not stating as gospel.

I’m having a bit of an issue with following up a CH with the , combo. Is there a trick to landing this consistently or do you just need to learn the timing? Right now I'm dashing up and waiting for my opponent's legs to be almost completely vertical and then doing the as quickly as I can after the lands. Right now in training mode I'm getting it around 40% of the time. Is this just a really difficult combo to get down or am I missing something here?

I understand that and I'm only practicing it in closed stance.

 

Its not stance specific in terms of open or closed. Evade dash towards the opponents front leg... its explained in Jackys combo list.

 

Ah ok thanks. The combo list only mentions specific characters so I wasn’t sure if there was another method players use.
