I am not taking side here but I just feel that some of you are really taking things way too serious.

Oh comeon..To say Fishie's postings are harassing, ridiculing or even trashtalking someone, is really an overstatement.

IMO, most of his comments are just frivolous ‘reflections’ of his character. Nothing more.

It's not that chibita or anyone here will loose any sleeps over what he said.

Yeah most of the guys plays in Prince Edward.
On our board www.hk-vf.net theres about 400 odd user but I guess only 40-50 who comes out to play regularly. Most of these guys/girls have had taken the trouble to open a VF.net account and have customised their character, since it's not to difficult to get the cards to Japan for updates. I did that once for about 20 of them.
Recently more new faces has appeared because of the PS2 version but after the SARS thing..things has die down a bit..I still play about twice a week though...
For the ranking thing..here's a link but it's in Chinese,

we've posted our ranks, percentage and time and location of arcades for others, so they could look for similar players for challenges. Well that was the original idea, some players don't play no more and new ones might not update there data.
I guess there are a few really good players there, such as "long Hair", " kan poon yin chung" (roughly translated to "I AM HANDSOME"), Calvin, Solid(has won several tourny in H.K, I guess he was the VF3 winner too) "Captain", and "Siuonzi" (who has taught me a lot about lei). These people I play against a lot so I know hoew good they are. " kan poon yin chung" made a 54winning streak once in Prince Edward..not playing against one or two players...
There are many others who I've might have miss but are also up there with them.
If any of you guys drop by in the near future, though I'ld doubt it /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif please let me know..will arrange some match ups.

Weve had something similar to this in vfhome a while ago and it was proven there that youre perception of my actions didnt stroke with reality.
Ive said numerous times both in the chat as well as here that I respect Chibita greatly, few are of his caliber.
I wont get into the rest of youre post as I dont want to get banned here.

 

I'm currently ranked as a ThunderLord with 87% win ratio, but I'm not sure how GOOD I am. My defense is solid - almost no one gets moves past my blocking. My only problems are my somewhat limmited offense, and my lack of skill with reversals. So, am I a total noob, Intermediate maybe...?

 

the only way to know is how often you beat humans, and even then that isn't a fair indication... you might beat local scrubs easily but lose to an average player who's travelled.

There's no single easy test, but if you understand how guaranteed throws work (i.e. minor counters) and know when to punish moves with guaranteed throws... and also can escape throws when you know one is coming... you're probably moving out of scrubdom. That's the kind of thing that takes an understanding of initiative and frames and the game system.
