It's now finished uploading to BBot, so those of you with irc know what to do.
Dunno what's up with bbot. bbot inquiries should be directed to _bmw_. Usually though it's nothing and you should just try again.

 

56K Friendly Finals clips

I figured I'd release some parts of the video that haven't been released before (ie: by sega-am2 or by captures from gpara.com or tbzone's releases). I checked through all the vids that were released around the time of the broadcast and noticed that all of the finals matches (best of 3 hereru vs minami) were never released in their entirety. These are around 10 mb each, which I figured would be ok for 56K users who didn't want to download the entire 1.4gb or 900mb file from barrybot. (wasup Akira_Zero heh)

Just so they get their due props - this is cammed footage (rather than a rip of a DVD)... which makes the quality even more impressive. It almost looks like direct feed.

We gotta thank the thugz in korea for this footage.

Yeah, you can see Heruru's head pop up after he wins /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. And watch his match vs Homestay carefully, and you can see one of Sega's VF female guests (dunno what else to call 'em /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif) jump up and down and clap after the third round. Oh, you can also see Heruru do the signature "hands together bowing" that he does after the match vs Sotaisho.

But yeah, these clips are amazing quality compared to the other video feed from KSII (from Sega and non-Sega parties). You can also see the camera operator zoom in and out, adjust height etc., but you need to pay pretty good attention to notice this. Duh! Just watched the vids, and you can see the arcade cabinets in lower corners of the screen /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. You can see in the lower right, Yoro's fist shoot in the air after he wins too.

One thing that is odd though, is that in the third clip, there is footage of Minami and Heruru looking at the cabinets, and it is filmed from the front facing the audience, inconsistent with the rest of the footage. Anyone know why, or was it just to get the players faces before they fought?

It almost looks like a weird splitscreen.

Maybe in Japan it's 'cool' to pose like the guys in Gundam Wing before beginning a match ? =P

The footage is actually from Gpara.com and not from VFEvo. Just a mirror.

I downloaded the file a couple of days ago, just posting to say good work!
And that file server was awesome, I had the file in approximately 2 hours, you can’t beat that.

hey all, im experiencing a problem with barrybot right now. I use mirc, and for some reason, whenever i request the indexed kakutou shinseiki 2 file, it tries to connect, but then it fails. however, whenever i request a smaller file, such as a match or combo vid, it proceeds to send it. does anyone know what to problem is? thanks

EDIT:never mind, it started sending, thanks anyways!
