There are no B&W scenes in the Hong Kong release!

My friends are gong to see the Japanese release pretty soon. If I get bored, I might go see it.

For the record, as far as I know, there are TWO Japanese reelases:
One with the Japanese subtitled in English, and one without the English subtitles... making it harder for non-Japanese speakers in Japan to enjoy.

I had to warn the guys at work, as they almost blue $18 on seeing the wrong one. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm still clueless as to which scene is in question. Is this the animated scene where the Bride is getting her ass kicked?

well, I just saw the movie and I kinda feel the same way about it as I did matrix 2 - a collection of fight scenes...there was not a lot of emotion in them..a lot of repetitive techniques....it got kinda comical after a while.

Come on, the emotions was in the visuals S_Dean. The visual all connect to each other as for the Matrix 2. There was too many broken piece that was all flash with no fundamental goal of winning. Rather It was more like a show off how to own someone whiles in Kill Bill there was a struggle for emphasizing on complete revenge with most of the scenes.. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just did not like the movie..was corny. No emotions in the fight to me...just going through motions with a few nice camera shots...

Dude, they are actors not professional athletes. And consdering the amount of training they got to do Kill Bill it's not bad at all considering when you look the Matrix cast /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.
