If 12 did not have the graphical overhual it got you would've dismissed that shit.

LOL I would not maybe you confusing me with somebody else.

On side note, check this vid:

at the end, the Mature player goes for a DM without bothering with a CC combo, and it seems to do a ton of damage. Does it pay off to forgo CC combos and just do DM instead?

^ All characters can achieve more damage than CC > DM by doing CC > combo + DM, but if you know the DM is going to KO them it's safer to just go for that.

Doing the DM after CC does up the damage of the DM though, which makes it a solid option to follow up CCs if you have the meter.

Whatever!! You still make no sense. you want 3-D options in a 2-D game basically. If it suits you im happy....convo done go about your bussiness.

I think the only guy you're better off doing CC straight into super is Goro Daimon... His CC > Combo xx Super doesn't seem to do as much damage.

His CC xx Super does like 600+ damage I think... But I'm pretty sure he is the only guy where you're not better off doing a combo and just going into the CC powered-up super right away.

My only problem with this game is the glitches and the LAGFEST...

A guy from here found another glitch that he showed me a couple days ago:

Pick Ash and Kensuo. Have Ash right up against Kensuo and throw one of his little floating flames behind Kensuo (maybe 3-4 character lengths behind) and then have Kensuo back-throw Ash into the floating flame and the throw will glitch.

They'll switch side and Kensuo will release Ash but there's no knockdown and no damage done. Ash just kind of stumbles and that's it. Not game breaking in any way but still a strange glitch.

^Haven't seen that one yet, but good to know. I know the Raiden one can be fixed by uninstalling the patch, or wait till they fix it. Hope the same will be for that one too.

Yeah Daimon's is pretty beefy straight into DM. But if you land the 6 kicks or so you can net more damage still.

Yeah, that glitch that I wrote about was discovered by a member of VFDC, Old Skool (GT- Yang Tze)... It's not a game breaking glitch really.

If you know about it, you could just throw Ash away from the floating flame move and the throw wouldn't glitch. It only seems to work when the flame is the right distance behind Kensuo AND then has to throw Ash into the flame.

Try it out if you have time. It looks really weird the way the throw just whiffs half way through the animation for no damage...

The Raiden glitch is a total game-breaker. It really is like Guiles handcuff glitch from SFII. The glitch Old Skool found is minor and would so rarely effect the game it doesn't really matter if it's fixed or not IMO.

Me and Yang Sze found that out a while ago. We were going to Youtube it, but the camera we had was BS. We will try again tonight. There's also a Andy glitch as well.

The president of Ignition is supposed to call me and talk to me about the game...

    No lie.

The person who runs their FB page sent me this:

    -------------------------

    Hello Jake,
Many of the fans of King of Fighters have been very patient and understanding in Ignition's dealing with the situation concerning KOFXII. In an attempt to continue to bridge the gaps between developers, publishers, and gamers, and to let all of our fans know that we've been listening, we'd like to contact you directly to ask you a few questions regarding KOFXII. We'd also like to send you a set of KOF trading cards, knowing that it does not make up for what many gamers are going through right now, but it's just our way of saying we're sorry for this experience, and we'll continue to do our best do right by the fans.
If you would like to provide your phone number, the President of Ignition Entertainment, would be happy to speak directly with you and hear your thoughts.
Thank you so much and we look forward to hearing from you directly soon.

    Sincerely,
    Ignition Entertainment

    Shane called me.

He sounded pretty serious that they were really trying to fix the netcode.

According to what I was told, netcode fixes are currently being play tested between USA and Japan and they hope to have some very good news out to customers within 48 hours.

I'm truly, truly surprised at them taking my opinion that seriously. I have never experienced anything even close to that as far as customer service.

My hat is off to Ignition and they AND SNKP both know their reputation is on the line.

He also mentioned that they were totally taken aback again when the extra information on the disc was cracked and that started up even more shit between Ignition and SNKP.

So, apparently they really are working on this hard and are gonna give us some news about a fix soon.

What's the story behind this? The first minute I got my SFIV disc I pulled images and files of DJ and T.Hawk from it. What 'extras' were cracked from the disc?

Also this is going to be too little too late because the review scores of KOFXII are in and they are pretty damning.

There was a list of characters in order, making it look like there was actually supposed to be teams and a storyline. Ash appears to be a single entrant, with Elisabeth taking his place in the main team with with Duo Lon and Shen Woo. The extra characters were:

Vice (teaming with Iori and Mature)
Hwa Jai (teaming with Kim and Raiden)
Takuma (teaming with Ryo and Robert
Mai, King and Yuri (Females Team)

Then there was the extra single characters. Billy (which was probably Kane, but could have been Lee from Rage of the Dragons - there was a rumour a while back that he was in it - the same guy at the time said that Andy and Raiden were in, and it turned out to be true) and "Iori98" which most people would assume was a classic version of Iori with flames. Then there was two other characters, most likely bosses in the unnamed "Boss Chara" and "Dark Ash".

The full list is below (taken from Cyberfanatix where someone got it from MugenChina):
