    awesome video man.

    Ash, or anyone who knows, what exactly is the implication of these file names being here???

    Just shows that the game is truly not finished? Or does it mean they were going to try to do some kind of character DLC? Like, the characters are already on the disc?

    I'm just confused about what those files really imply about the game's situation...

    Well with SFIV people found data for T.Hawk and DJ. Capcom confirmed that those two characters were planned for the game but were not even close to finished despite the game data retaining some of their information. Perhaps Capcom is working on those two characters for SFIV:CE or whatever or perhaps they will remain incomplete.

    With KOFXII that data could represent incomplete character designs and models, or it could be fully complete characters that will become unlocked as future DLC.

    Remember the SFIV costumes were already on the disc and you paid to unlock them (much like the VF5 version C costume data if I remember correctly as well). Basically DLC like this is designed to squeeze every last dollar out of the consumers. Capcom certainly wasn't vocal about SFIV DLC being already on the disc. And I'm sure SNK is not thrilled that future DLC might have been exposed as already complete (if that's the case). It could just be incomplete models though.

    If you look at Blackula's new combo video, it shows how Goro's CC combo into super doesn't do as much damage as the CC straight into super (or DM is it? Destruction Move?)...

    I think his CC>Combo>DM was ~450 damage but I'm almost positive his CC>DM (for the powered up DM) does ~600-650 damage. It's truly brutal.

    I have the Brady Games guide and the author also recommends going straight into DM after the CC hit just because of the increased damage.

    None of this really matters to me at all if they don't patch the online lag soon. KOF XII will be collecting dust if they don't fix the LAG.

    I don't see why not.

    You can just strike fireballs with all kinds of moves. As a matter of fact, I think some characters can punish you on the clashes.

    So far I think it's just with moves that send them forward very fast, some supers might even work.

    You do take some damage when you clash though. I think it's 30% of the total damage.

    When you clash with a regular move you both take damage, but clashing with a fireball, only you take damage. I think clashing it is somewhat of a last resort I would imagine.

    Clashing isnt a last resort, because you can move after it, you can probably get in on some characters after you clash their fireballs

    Actually, Goro's CC into DM is only 484. The combo I did was 485, only 1 pt more. You'd be better off just doing the DM instead if you're not fast enough to get all 6 kicks in.

    Ok guys,

    Ignition has now stated on their KOF XII FB page that a netcode patch is coming very soon.

    Here's what they said. It looks promising now!

    Good. If SNK have had a hand in developing it they should apply it to all their games. They're all rubbish online

    U giving up Beni? That was your best chara when we started playing.

    I'm going to pick this game up soon. I played it again last weekend and I'm craving to play more.

    True. I think this is the case for anyone that's not a complete turtle player.

    But trust me you don't want to have it get guarded.

    Yep, I gave him up, this Beni is not rewarding in my style of play in this game. Shen has easily become my strongest character by leaps and bounds. Leona is great backup and contrast, always has been. I was switching around trying different characters out, Andy, Ash, Mature, Kyo, but I think I'm settling on Duo Lon now because he's a good missing part to how I operate for now.

    Hopefully the netcode gets fixed so I can play a lil bit more. I've been playing some ok matches against people very close lately, maybe about 20-30 min every other day total.
