KOF XII

XII is definitely online. Not sure about BlazBlue but I'd assume that it was.

 

Both have online confirmed SuperPanda =D Just gotta cross our fingers for a solid netcode.

I agree with you Matteo about how KOFXII seems to capture the essence of older KOFs. The stages all have lots of people cheering for you and everything, it really looks like a tournament, like back in 97!

I'm actually awaiting the next arcadia's ranking on KOF, and the general opinion of the game.

I also read that the console version of KOF XII will have 26 characters instead of the 20 in the arcade. I don't have any clue who the characters will be, but they said 4 would be selectable immediately and 2 will be unlockable I believe.

I think it's cool we are getting a few extra characters on the console.

BTW- This game's graphics look gorgeous. The backgrounds just look awesome! So detailed!

 

I'd like to see a boss added. HD Rugal would be nice.

 

I received a press release from Ignition USA/SNKPlaymore through newsletter two weeks ago. Among the "Game Features" they mention "KOFXII features OVER 22 characters". RIght now, with Elisabeth and Mature, we have exactly 22. So there is more to be announced for sure.

 

I don't know how KOF online is going to be, but Blazblue is going to have 6 players lobby. And besides, you don't have to wait for the new Arcadia, the game controls fine, and is fun to play. Is not like that new Samurai Showdown(Ugly Mofo)

Anyway, it's confirmed for both consoles that you can do 3 on 3 with friends. SBO style if you will, where each player only controls one character for that match.

It has 8 person lobbies.

Only thing we don't know is, how well will it play online :\ Here's to hoping.

I was on the fence about buying this, but KRSjin's post just pushed me over it, i'm definitely getting this now.

The entertainment value skyrockets when you can do shit like that. I remember playing KwonHo online that had a 3 person deathmatch system much like KOF. It's just fun rooting on your teammate when your down to the last guy, watching him OCV the team and shit. If the netcode is good this game will be a blast.

 

Yeah just pray the netcode is good cause 3 on 3 with friends is wayyyyyy toooo goood.

Also I messed up, I think it's only 6 person lobbies for XBL and 8 for PSN? I think. Either way, 6 for sure.

 

Too many fighters, not enough time / skill / money to get them all...

 

It looks like most of my friends are getting the PS3 version. I'm still going to be on both, but it seems the PS3 version is going to get the most play time. Wait till you guys try the AWESOME feature of "Chat Rooms" on the PS3, LOL. Texting FTW! Anyway, who's buying on the PS3? I know, Dark and Slide are. SDS, Gern and glOry are going with 360. Let me know so I could add some of you on the PS3. BTW, rock your headsets on the PS3 slackers.

Oh and are you picking up BlazBlue on PS3 as well? Because I will, though not sure if I'll dedicate as much time to it as I will do for KOF

 

Im sorry but I have to Need for a PS3..Once they lost Tekken i a one system town. I will have this one 360 day one handing out ass whoppings lol!

 

I hope more familiar fighters will be in the home consoles. The arcade roster makes me feel like SNK Playmore has gone back to having small amount of fighters since the game's debut.[/size]
