cozby is right, the AI is fucked, its the worse ive seen, its not even cheap, its just stupid.

ppppp,kkkkd_kkkkkpkpkpkpkpkp+k <---soooo much random shit, its funny really, and it doesn't stop, it's constantly doing random shit it doesn't make sense. it doesn't even know how to combo AT ALL. I still like the game but damm they kinda fucked up of the port. training mode is the only good thing.

 

OK, back to bitching about VF5R, or the lack of it, for me.

Seriously CobiyukiOS... if you are bored then go spam a few of Sega's websites about VF5R and put some of the energy to good use.

 

The AI is just terrible. It's obvious that they didn't even program anything about the critical counters into the AI. When it gets one it just keeps spamming random buttons for one or two hits, if it hits you at all.

If they fix the lag (which is BAD) I'll be happy with it. If they can't fix the lag, SNK really F-ed me over with this one...

I guess it's all good to have a game that stripped down if the online is tight and the netcode is good. That's acceptable to me... But, to have it this stripped down AND you still can't play online cause they don't know how to program good netcode is a true rip-off...

I really hope they fix the lag soon.

 

kof12 is straight up bad. nothing about it is in the least bit redeemable.

It's pretty depressing how poor of a package this game really is.

If the patch doesn't fix the poor-ass netcode it's as good as garbage to me...

I actually managed to find a group of people who play the damn thing offline, so I'll at least get to play somebody until they fix the lag, and if they don't, I can always play with them.

Sucks paying the full 60 for it, but eh, what're you gonna do.

 

Well, I didn't see an additional update today so I guess what we got yesterday was "the" patch. How sad if that was indeed the patch because connections are still horrible.

Doesn't look good for KOF XII's online modes.

 

Only thing you can do right now is play in 2-man rooms. Gernburgs, if you'd like to play add me and we can throw down. I will host it.

 

So much for KOFXII catching on...

Best bet is to wait for a KOFXII: Black Update for consoles (like a VF4 -> VF4:EVO) and hope that that version features some meaty updates including better training modes, robust online component, and other features.

I can't believe this game retails for $60. The Chinatown Fair arcade version is almost as complete as the console version.

I've been hearing many things about this game, more negative then positive. Just curious as to what the VFDC'rs that own the game think about it.

 

^I think it's a great arcade port with nothing appealing for console only stuff outside of the replay options lol.

I really hope they do more with this engine or even 12 itself (i.e. KoFXII Black as mentioned above) because the game itself is a blast.

This is one of the reasons i rate VF so highly cos people who watch sf4 and can copy some random replay match in seconds to there brain not a problem.

When VF matches are up in general boy are scrubs in deep shit they don't have a clue what the hell is going on then they say things like VF is a shit game, (but no no no Mr scrub its you who is shit at games)

BB looks good i ain't knocking it but it is a (HYBRID GGXXR Mugen coverup)

when the combo system was explained in detail, i just said allow it man u do them i'll sit and watch.

BB - KOF12 - SF4 its just become a total jokefest

The only game that ever seems to improve for the right reasons is VF5R and yet they can't even put the game on a console so i am reduced to going back to KOF98um & XBLA until something else happens.

 

Burn a copy......This Shit is a 20 dollar game. MOTW came out better than this online.
