After seeing what the did to Andy,Clark and Ralf.. I won't never give my money these cats. Sorry.

 

Is that cosmetically speaking, or in reference to actual gameplay changes??? Real talk, I feel Andy's stronger, especially since he has that hcf+K cancel, allowing him to do more combo-wise. He's like both regular and EX Andy combined, but not so heavily nerfed like Shermie was in NGBC.

Either way, at least the game is coming out-- in the US/EU and on consoles... You can't beat that...

 

Reference to actual gameplay. And yes the cancel is deadly but Andy 2k2 incarnate was that Nucca.. Especially the outfit alone.

Atleast its coming out unlike a another company who just rather count to 6...

 

I really like this style of Andy. It's more like the old style he had in Fatal Fury 2 with full screen fireballs and pressure from safe shoulder barges. The outfit's similar too.

I'll have to spend some time with the game to be sure but I think I'm gonna really like him. I think in a new game with lots of changes to characters and new ones they all need to be reassessed.

Weapon users in KOF can get fucked

All I care about seeing in this game is Vanessa, they can put anyone else in for all I care, as long as she's in. Yamazaki would be interesting, though

 

A bunch of cats have been anticipating Billy Kane's return, especially me since he's my strongest character in any KOF... It would be nice to see Vanessa, but quite honestly, I'd be happy to see characters like Heavy D!, Geese, and some characters from XI make a return...

Yes, Billy is one of the best additions they could've made, the other being Chang. The game needs spacing/poking characters badly, instead of more shoto/grappler/rekka variations. How is Shermie unique? She is a grappler, and the game already has 5 of them (Raiden, Daimon, Vice, Clark, Maxima). Yamazaki is a bit unique but not as much as Billy, since he's just a mish-mash of other character types, much like many characters in KOF.

 

If some of you would like to test the game out... since it's leaked and it is a Taito Type X2 game, you can play it on your PC.

It would be nice to see Bao or Seth make a comeback. They're dope in 2k2UM. Gai Tendo needs to get back in KOF because he was a blast to learn, and his "style" was very unorthodox imo...

 

I really liked Angel, wouldn't mind seeing a truly balanced new version of her but that would be alot to ask for imo. I also liked Duck in 11, and Lucky D in 98.

 

I would say the 6 most likely to be in are Chang, Momoko, Malin, Oswald, Adel, and 98 Iori. The first 4's sprites were shown on the official blog: http://game.snkplaymore.co.jp/official/kof-xiii/blog/archives/2010/08/post_28.html. Oswald and Adel being the most likely, since Frionel hinted at their inclusion in an interview. And 98 Iori since he is the only character left from the KOFXII disc data.

 

I get what you're saying that Billy is unique, but Shermie is a cool character who's quite unique personality-wise and people like her - that's about it. I like characters who seem like they're having tons of fun while fighting, and the game lacks those compared to "SRS" type. I'd personally like to see the old Orochi team back, even if for no other reason than that. I also don't like weapon users, and I play characters because I like the whole package, not because one of them has a "unique style"... uniqueness isn't always good.

Heck, if you want "unique", how about Angel (chain combos) or Vanessa (stances). The gist of the matter is simply that I always hated Billy with his stupid magic stick, that's about it. The character is just a generic "angry cocky dude" with no appeal and a weapon. The only worse character for me character they could bring would be Cheech and Chon... I mean, Chang and Choi.

I just don't get SNK. It would make sense to bring back old favorites from the game's golden years so that the veterans would jump back on board. Maybe some people liked Kane, but I can't imagine him being as popular as Yamazaki or Vanessa.

TLDR: SNK is taking away my characters and bringing back the most disliked ones from the same era just to troll me personally. Hard to make a team, this is a conspiracy and I mad.
