Yeah I'd like them to add diversity to the cast and Billy should do that. What about Gai Tendo, Vanessa, Jhun and Seth? They all seem unique, Gai in particular who I want back the most.

Since its been to long to quote a lot of you guys.. Im Glad they added back billy. I like him but i prefer the RB,KOF97 outfit. Billy is not a Angry Cocky whateva somebody may think he is.. He is a tough motherfucker lol who adds diversity. What i don't like about the last 2 KOFS is the characters are dumbed down to the original playstyle making them feel generic imo. Angel would be a lovely addition giving its her 2001 form.. Like i said they can never do any wrong by adding more characters. I just hate the way each character playstyle is straight-forward like their 94 and 95 versions. I hope some of you understand what im talking about when i say straight-forward..

Yeah, all unique, especially Jhun. He is probably in my top 3 favorite fighting game characters. Unfortunately there's been no hints towards those characters, but at least most of the the ones that have are cool.

Can I just get some of the moves added back to the players. I felt like I had been abused when I played Kim & King in kofXIII and half their moves were gone :S

that being said 98 iori would be nice

No story BS but I'd want to play as Geese again [IMG]

No it's 27th for Japan... 25th for America... can't even be arsed to use the exclamation mark this time.

    EDIT: http://www.atlus.com/kofxiii/

Click the Amazon link and you'll see it's set for the 25th in NA, snk officially announced the release date a while back but for some reason they and Atlus have yet to update their sites with the info [IMG]

KusoGaki from KOF[UK] and Dreamcancel.com posted a quick combo vid showcasing what Billy Kane can do... It's not a whole lot now, since this is a combo vid done on an i-phone, but its still good to see that Billy can do some damage still... He also has classic combos as well:

Bet there's gonna be a version 1.2 patch with the new additions... Half-screen pokes gonna beat out that stupid dropkick!!!

Come Oct.25th, America has no more excuses not to play KOF, period!!! No one can complain about the graphics, nor the "brokeness", or anything else... As far as I'm concerned, in San Diego, cats are calling SF4 the "Hong Kong Edition" its that unbalanced... Anyway, there's gonna be a side tourney at EVO if anyone is interested... I'll post up some info later...

Could we get the chance to play the game before we claim the game to be awesome?

Here's a list of the current areas with the KOFXIII machine:

    http://dreamcancel.com/?page_id=445

Aside from that, it was available at E3 I believe, as well as the ReveLAtions tournament. There are a few other tournaments that are holding KOFXIII events or are in the works at least. There's still the EVO side tourney, and support is being asked for that as well. Here's the link for that info: http://dreamcancel.com/?p=1440

At the very least, you can buy KOF-I for the i-phone... It plays the exact same, sans the button config.

Even if you haven't "played" the game, there are those who have that say its awesome... We do the exact same thing for VF5FS, and I'm pretty sure 98% of us haven't even touched that game (youtube doesn't count). We can at least say that the game is getting released outside of Japan and on consoles... That, and its getting spruced up for the fans...

I'm not saying don't get hyped, but saying everyone should get it / play it because the game is awesome and the balance too is rather disingenuous.

I will more than likely get the game, but not if the online is as shit as the last attempt. After MvC3, MK and KoFXII I decided to stop throwing money out of the window for games that don't hold sway online.

Trust We KNOW VF5FS is the shit. Ill let somebody else buy this shit and tell me how the online is before i give up the bread for it. Im glad i steered clear of the last one. Too bad MOTW never seen a sequel.
