Kung Fu Theater

I'll look for those in my collection. I'm pretty sure I have Return of the Bastard Swordsman. Shinobi, I swear on my life you have to watch Super Ninjas!!!! Cliche story (school gets attacked, lone survivor, wants revenge, survivor learns new style) but crazy "OMFG" type of action!

 

^You wouldn't happen to be talking about a movie called "Chinese Super Ninja", where the main character ended up fighting against these "elemental ninjas"?

If so, that was a great classic that I still have...

What are some others...Snake in Eagle's Shadow, 36 Chambers Of Shaolin, Once Upon A Time In China(I-III), Ferocious Monk From Shaolin...oh man, there are so many...and so many others that I've seen, but never learned the name of! lol

 

Yup thats the one! The first time I saw it was on the USA network. They used to have a weeklong event where they would show classic kung fu movies every night. I heard the transfer to dvd was crap so I'm looking to see if any vhs copies are still available.

 

The funny thing is, I remember I bought the VCD, but never got a chance to see it. Somehow, I lost it. I know I've seen the flick years ago, but is very foggy to me. I'll pick it up this week. BTW, check out "Buddah Fist"

 

lol I thought that was the one, the one I have is the DVD version and it isn't too bad IMO.

 

I finally got a chance to pick up "Super Ninjas" The funny thing is, I have it on laserdisc under a different name"Five Elemental Ninjas" So, once I saw the beginning I was like "Oh Snap!" I remember this. One of the best openings in Kung Fu Cinema, I've seen. Is nothing but action from the opening credits. One thing for sure, the weapons in this flick are intense like their outfits, lol. Thanks for reminding me about this flick.

Very original fight scene with the gas-filled-room and the whole fight-for-oxygen-from-a-faucet showdown.
Also known as The Defender, this movie sucked something awful but just like a lot of kickflicks whose stories suck, the fight scenes were awesome.

Iron Fisted Monk- Starring, Sammo Hung.

 

Dirty Ho is GREAT. Ten tigers from Kwangtung, five super fighters, 8 diagram pole fighter, chessboxing 1 and 2, venoms, shaolin avengers, Dragon's claws, to kill with intrigue, police story, iron man, man of iron, really anything with Gordon Liu or Alexander Fu sheng. Shaw bros or Joseph kuo were the best to me. (luv ur av)

5 Masters Of Shaolin!

 

KillZone is off the chain, Flashpoint with Donnie Yen and that cat from the matrix is off the hook too.

Actually there's about 6 flix that Dragon Dynasty put out that are all on the level of KillZone and Flashpoint.

Awesome.

 

This is NOT a kick flick, but is worth mentioning regardless. Time in Tide. One of my favorite flicks this decade. A women giving birth while shooting @ badguys, nuff said. And also, Andy Lau's Full Time Killer.
