Kung Fu Theater

There's a lot of good stuff mention here. The last two I've mention are "Gun flicks" Hard Boiled type stuff(But not in the same fashion, style wise)

 

This might not be the right place to ask but its somewhat related...
Any other asian-origin films you guys could suggest (of any date)?
I was just watching 'The Storm Riders - Striding Cloud' and found it pretty cool:

Even movies like 'Young and Dangerous' I find to be interesting.

 

If you like stuff similar to Strom Riders, checkout Andrew Lau's(Same director of Young and Dangerous)very own "The Duel" As for Young and Dangerous type films, they're a bunch of spin-offs base on that series, and I mean a bunch. But, the ones I've mention should fill your appetite(FullTime Killer & Time in Tide) Also checkout "Fallen Angel's" by Wong Kai' Wai. Interesting hitmen flick. And, a awesome soundtrack as well.

 

Fulltime Killer is phenomenal. That started Catherine and I down the path of subtitled Asian movies.

 

Just rented Flash Point the other day and it is hot. Big thanks to Donnie for keeping kung fu flicks alive.

EDIT: Watch out for Donnie's next movie, IP Man, which comes out in December.

 

Awesome, I hope you got a chance to see movies like "Running Out Of Time" or Internal Affairs.

I think we watched that shortly after. Catherine would follow different branches - more movies by a particular director or more movies with a certain actor. Just awesome.

This is shaping up to be a classic already. And based on the Man himself, Yip Man. Been waiting for this for a LONG time.
