It is true that kage recovers low after 3K+G so a normal 10f throw won't connect, but BH is 16f frames execution and it will connect.

 

does any of this shit make ANY sense? RECOVERS LOW. just stop right there. why would you even attempt BH here? what kage player is stupid enough to stand up backturned here? mister - you're full of bad information. i'll bet a million bucks you've never landed this.

Thnx for testing RE, I hadnt yet. But worth noting is its strange recovery, it recovers low/then high, so i dont have the option to stay crouched like a normal low recovery.

And Mister I thought I stated in my post that the 16f BH could connect because of the extra time, perhaps i wasnt clear sorry.

Just want people to know why i landed Kage's BT 2k after a guarded 3k+G, If you dont have a 16f throw, just blow my ass up with a 19 or less mid launcher and I go bye bye

For a guy that probably couldn't punish kage 3k+g in a real game, you do a good job of discouraging others from contributing their opinions about Wolf.

I have watched you play, and from watching other Wolfs, you leave much to be desired. Do you know what Wolf's most important throw is? Probably not. You're just talk man. You are in the same pool as everyone else.

I played Cozzy many games the other night, where he used the Bryants and Wolf to devastating effect. He hit me with his running throw many times, before I realised I just had to hold neutral escape, which of course, sets up more nitaku around the Burning Hammer.

A very good player, who left me humbled, but you always learn something from longer sets with these guys, and I include both Shang and Flash also in that experienced pantheon

 

There is a lot of disagreement between me and Mister about how to use and play Wolf, what is good and what is not... Yet I can assure anyone here that anything he post/talk about is well-tested and always makes sence.
It may not fit your own way of playing Wolf or the way you think he should be used, but it always is credible and usefull. ALWAYS.

On other hand, when it comes to both of you (aka Flash and Shang), I can judge only from vids on internet. But what I see there is strong yomi on one side and lack of VF5FS wolf-related knowledge on other one.

When it comes to yomi games, I will always listen to you and think about what you post. But when it comes to actuall FS stuff, you know shit.
I bet that when it comes to FS, 1/2 or even more of that "n00b shit" wolf players you tend to fart upon actually KNOW about the character itself better that you 2 togather. They may lack advanced stuff execution and may suck in guessing or in actuall play itself, but they still know much more that you 2.
And actually, this dicsussion proves both of this points perfectly.

From my POW the problem of this thread is it get derailed pretty fast and far from original topic.
On Misters topic, my point is that while he made a mistake, it does not change anything about his posts about Wolfs tech being overall credible, usefull and well-tested.

Anyway, your post about wolf options against BT Aoi is great sum of his options with all pros and cons. Unlike versus anyone else, this situation is pure yomi versus Aoi and I really like how you explain whole situation.
On other hand, your "defence" on 3k+g topic is what I found pretty poor, especially since the moment you started to argue with FS being played mainly onlie on lag... I mean, come on. Argument that BTBH does not work after 3k+g blocked because of online is about as credible as advicing someone to spam knee at -15 because of online...

As much as I agree that 46p+k is good option, it does not change anything about original point - that BTBH is guaranteed here.
I will also like to point out that 46p+k versus BT kage guarantee 91 damage at max on NH, unless you hit the wall. On Recovery Counter, it should be 96 if I am not mistaken (have no chance to test this now, but I think this is the value). 120 points of damage + BTBH hype still makes BTBH being completely viable punishment there, unless - just as you mention - you can use 46p+k for ringout/space carry/wall extension in case the situation allows this.
