SDS you shouldn't sweat that dude man. You've got skills, that's without a doubt, and I always learn something when we fight. I'm not "pro" of whatever, but either way, I'm not scared of anyone, let's just put that out there. And I'm damn sure not what you said in your 3rd post.

Dude feels the way he feels, you can't change that. He's probably one of many who have gripes with the community, and if it is a true gripe, then make some power moves and change that which caused the gripe(s) in the first place (in the community, not FS). Also, take that "beef" to EVO or some other tourney at least and use it for the better. That might have a greater effect-- who knows? I know your feelings aren't rants, but the joint still reminded me of Dark Prince and his "feud" with Cl0ckw0rk.

Also, not all jp players are superior and they all aren't humble. Remember that Q player that demolished JWong at SBO way back??? That joint was far from humble, regardless of the reason, so let's shut that stereotype down real quick...

Anyway, Shou, how did NAVF quit on you? Please shed some light on that for me either here, or pm or something. Thanks.

Wow now im lowly? Compared to you? Damn can the hate get any worst. First of all i never cared about tournaments growing up.. i just love the rawness of the battle. I never like that play to win mentality in tournaments cause the higher up you go to more bullshit you have to deal with i certain fighters... I mean C'mon now you wanna do a first to 15 Denkai? Get the fuck outta now you wanna get on VF when you disappeared for Eons while i stuck around practicing cause i felt this day would come where we get a released date for FS..ow you all of a sudden you went back and forth with Shou you want to show me just how lowly i am? So what did you learned then? You got a taste for the good life and never wanted to go back.. After Getting destroyed by Yosuke in WCG i figured you head back to the drawing board so it won't happen again but i guess i was wrong..... I guess you will neveer understan Denkai. I respect you to the utmost and i appreciate everything you ever inflicted on me in VF that made me a bit stronger lol!!! but you are one of the few who still stay in denial about things...

@Jinx - He did that because justin was talking shit.
Im not trying to sound big-headed but its all for the hype for of VF. If a VF5 was at Evo i would make my way there NO DOUBT!!! Sorry if i offended anyone im just talking a little shit... I just letting Shou know im not scared of him or anybody.. How else will i learn if i don't suffer a bit of humiliation?

Word up, I hear you SDS. Cats gotta have that mentality, like "I don't give a f--- about <insert person>!!!" It kills me how so many times in tournament recaps I see people get afraid and then demolished by <insert your favorite pro> because they're considered strong and so "OMG, It's a Gundam!!!". Whatever with that man!!! That's part of the reason why we (general) in the states are weak in certain games. It's the same way in KOF. Gotta break that stigma and put fear in them.

Yeah you're right, Wong was talking mad garbage. But the fact still remains that the other cat didn't have to respond in the same manner. He could've been humble and just "auto-smash" and went on about his business like he did with Wong's teammate.

Since Justin wong is the best in the US i guess they wanted to make a example but i can understand why... I already know im behind the 8 ball here against the Japs but that don't mean i can feel like i can hold my own... Me and Denkai is 2 different people against Shou or whomever and i guess he don't realize that. I could on both hands the people who use to tear my ass up in VF5 when i first started.. All i ever wanted to do was get to a point where i can just hold my own in anything or maybe surpass my expectations

He's only the best because he knows how to tier whore and win. He studies a game just enough and picks up whoever's top. NGBC, MvC2, 3S, CvS2, SF4, XvSF, KOFXI, and a few other games he does just that... He's got good defense, I'll give him that, but cats sweat him too much imo.

SDS I'm all for cocky people getting humbled and maybe losing some money or mcnuggets in the process. Esp if they're being ignorant and badmouthing VFDC.

STILL, The VFDC Sucks thing has been going on since like 2007 or earlier lmao. The Shou posts in the informational FS thread are a good breakdown of things about the game that people don't like, and have a great deal of substance to them, esp for a site that "sucks". IDK guys you tell me if those two pieces of rhetoric taken together are ironic/humorous or not.

    Here's a hint:

    Sorry to side-track here.

When I met up with the VFDC guys it seemed like money matches were really uncommon in the scene, but they did have 'death matches'. I rather liked those haha. FT5 or FT10, no money, just strictly pride and bragging rights were enough. They still seemed just as intense, too.

There's a difference between he ones who think they're superior, and the ones who ARE superior.

And then you have dudes that take this stuff too seriously lol.

Now this is what I'm talking about! Let's get some rivalry going. Lot of vets look back on VF4Evo as the hey day of Western VF. Why is that? Because we had rivalries so hot, the boards were full of flames and look at what they did. The skill level jump between 2003 and 2004 was staggering. We knocked the socks off the Japanese players visiting Evo2K4 especially after they heard the stories from the Japanese players who went to Evo2K3 ("America is weak", "It's still only Ryan Hart who understands VF")

    2003
    [IMG]
Americans are so weak we can't even look at them

    I didn't press start, biiiiiiiiiitch!!!!

    2004
    [IMG]
from a VF-centric BBS in 2004 after Evo2k4, Americans are stronger than we were led to believe, if they played in Japan, many of them would be "shou" ranked (7-9 above 10 dan in VF4). Shou, in particular, was extremely strong in the tourney, he comes at you with everything that can be done in the game, clearly would be Toushou level (9 above 10 dan) in Japan.

SDS: You've got spirit, kid, but really, you need to cleanup your neighborhood before you hit the big city. Remember stage 1 of Final Fight? You gotta clean up those streets and beat that smiley fool with the glasses before you can take on anyone else! Also, you may want to look into some VFDC history. I've been here a long time, neighbor, like I met most of these vets in 1999. I've slammed VFDC for years but I'm still friends with people like Myke. I just sent him a bunch of official VF5 posters that I won at tourneys over the years to use as prizes for VFDC but this place is still gay. [IMG] BTW, that's not my sig you're seeing in the vids, it's a team name which I do not even own. My sig says, "I'm a foreigner (bow down to me), I don't have a skirt item so deal with (my panties)."

Denkai: I did say that you beat me overall. Also, Adam beat me too. It was that beating I took that inspired me to play VF5 more (I had stopped playing for awhile at the time) and come up with new techs like the one which I talked about it in the other thread which totally pumped up my game. It's like the difference between a guy who can block and not block for a shitty character like vanilla Sarah. I think it'd be a much different story today, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to knock out people like Itazan in vanilla VF5 tourneys. [IMG]

Also, anyone that has met me, knows I play for Tropicana OJ by the case! I'll be visiting the States again early next year so bring it.

Maybe it's the pictures... or nostalgia (even if I wasn't in the scene nostalgia!)...

But I thought Shou's last post was 100% Pure Awesomeness!

Someone has to explain I didn't press start, biiiiiiiiiitch!!!! to me :p

Shou, Tropicana OJ is pretty legit, but the 'Simply' line of juices murder those. Try them yourself.

I respect all of that but we gotta get you switched over to Simply OJ. That's what's up now.

EDIT: Hahaha, posted just before me. Slide of course, knows what's up.

All of the "Simply" drinks are pretty amazing. They can't actually be healthy cause that would be too broken. Pink Lemonade / Apple is my shit.
