im sure that the VS cab with EVO in it has buttons removed???

anyways can anyone conferm that new sticks are the the VS cabs yet???
if so what ones???

 

There isn't a chance to train VF on friday, is there? I'm crashing into town at around 4 p.m. on friday..

Random, apparently ullysis bought all new buttons and sanwa parts for the cabinets, and they're getting installed specifically for the tourney. i guess afterwards they'll just return the machines back to funland, so hopefully this means we'll get fully working sticks and buttons.. for a time at least hehe.

i actually saw a funland technician replace a button on sunday.. i was.. shocked! /versus/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

 

Okay well from what I've heared from all peeps,
from now until say late wednesday evening we will have VF to practise on the Versus city cabs ( back to 50p 2 credits and yes new sticks! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif) downstairs ground floor now.

Then from thursday it'll be the ps2's as the alpha 3 and third strike people need the cabs for their tourni's,
so thursday provided there's enough T.V's and Ps2's we shoudl have no problem,(sounds like we should have at least 2 machines for just vf!)

Then of course sat torni,
and then don't forget team battle on sunday, the time's been moved now, thank goodness, to 10:00 a.m,
If there are a few late straglers maybe the organisers could also wait a few more minutes before start, 10:30? we'll see...

ooooohhh.......... i might just pop down on thursday for a warm up then, getting used to the atmosphere and stuff ready saturday...
so do you think it'll be after 4ish as usual?

Good turnout on Friday, OK on Saturday. Good to see some Northeners make their way down; nice to play you all. I was thinking of going up to Manchester for play/holiday.

with Ab's this weekend, everyone's probably got more pressing issues. I'm gonna try and make it to Ab's (I can crash at IronMike's) but we will have to see.

A big shout out to all the VF head's at Troc, how the hell do you guy's cope with the heat where the VS cabinet's are? It's WELL hot and sweaty. I was mightily impressed by the standard of some of the player's though (esp. by a pai player and a vanessa player, can't remember your name's! /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif) I better get practising!

I can't bloody believe that it's back to 2 credit's for 50p, when I was there it was only 1! AAAAAAAGH!

Yeah, I wanted to stay and play more head's, but the guy's house I was stayin at had to go home, and we were there in the afternoon on the Saturday, but had to set off at 7ish, so had to go at 6, gutted! But I'm gonna see if I have enough money for Ab's I wanna see Ryan, Mukki and all the other Vf head's I've still not seen play yet. I know I got raped by certain player's, but it seem's to have made me much more determained since I got better, so it ain't all bad!
