Someone said that vf is too kung fu focused... that's true but, i hope am2 will introduce snake fist or maybe snake and crane fist (did anyone see that movie with jackie chan?).
Another technique i saw in a kung fu movie: is the shadow technique. I don't know the chinise names of these two styles but, in the movies i saw, they are great.

Lucid_Nightmare said that. I had to agree with him. I kind of figure out the VF series had a lot of Chinese styles about five years ago.[/size]

It seems to be the case masterpo, VF's system would need to evolve a bit further in order to accomodate more styles it seems...Just as they had to tweak things a bit to allow Sumo Wrestling in 3/R, they'd have to do the same with the possible inclusion of Capoeira or(Much to my dismay...) BJJ...

I apologize for bringing up Tekken again, but it's system is more flexible because of it not having many "rules"...Like with the OTG system, you're basically helpless if you don't find a way to get up...Then there's also the fact that there's no ARM or8-way run like in VF and SC...or even a block button like the other two as well...

These all allow for a more diverse array of styles to present themselves, while the downside to this is that it creates many more imbalances/ chances of blatantly overpowered characters in the game...Tekken's never been known for balance anyway though. lol

I wouldn't want VF to change into something like Tekken, but I still want to see more fighting styles from around the world represented other than the Chinese arts for the most part...

@DarkGift-Escrima? A weapon-style in the game would be highly interesting...I wonder if AM2 could pull it off in VF, or should it be saved for a new Last Bronx?

escrima is not just a weapon based system.. it also has a hand to hand aspect.. think Jason Bourne in the Bourne trilogy.. he used alot of escrima

What about the Kenpo that Feng Wei uses in Tekken 5? He's got some wild moves.
When I think about his style, he's got a lot of moves that nobody in VF does, but
would definitely work in VF. I don't know if you could classify most of his moves
as Kenpo though. That's stretchin it just a wee bit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

She Quan(Snake Fist) would be a good addition to the series(Christie from the Dead or Alive series uses this martial art). /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

That's true, it's just that when I think of Escrima, I immediately think of the sticks. lol

When I hear Escrima I also think of the fight between Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto in Game of Death, Inosanto was crazy with the sticks...

Well, another art that could VF could try is Vovinam...This is another art that has never been represented in any media, seems very interesting too.

@KristinaNardone-Snake Fist was represented nicely in DOA by the assassin Christie, but if any other animal-art were to be added, I'd like to see Eagle Claw...It'd look just a little similar to Lion's praying mantis, because of the pinch-grips, but not really...

Amongst future vfighters, i'd really like to play
some big eastern european dude practicing sambo,
it also would be really cool if they could add some
    vicious goh's fellow gang-member
    kicking asses with shoot boxing.
I think another interesting martial art that could be used
in future vf series is hapkido. AM2 think about it.

It was a joke. Since the most useful weapon in the VFDC forum is sarcasm I also use it now (because I ran into sarcasm a lot here).

    FAIL. That wasn't "Sarcasm" that was areally bad lie. Now sarcasm is the new word to "Spin" yourself out of lies now? Joking and sarcasm are not the same.<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Warning, Spoiler: <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show" onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Show'; }" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;">Now that's how you use SARCASM NOOB!(Double Sarcasm FTW!)
You need to put a little more sauce into your "Sarcasm" make it sound real, passionate, not trollish, but clever. Remember, theirs truth in sarcasm. And what you posted, there did not have ANY truth in it. It was more of a "Rick Roll" bait. Thank god you didn't "Rick Roll" anyone, yours ass would've been BANNED! On the reals, don't pay mind to people who use sarcasm, because they're to scare to say the truth.</div></div></div>

Sarcasm cannot sound real, passionate, et cetera if you write it. But yeah you're right, I'm a newb. I don't know who Rick Roll is, I'm not perfect in English (cause my mothertongue is German) and I didn't have any truth in it (don't know what you mean).
I just want to be like tonyfamilia and the others who write cool stuff here. You could say my goal is, to see one of my quotes in someones signature.
I'm trying to earn respect from y'all.

Martial arts style I want in the future of VF: Tiger Kung Fu.
