I was thinking of Abrupt Addypaddy & Darthminion today... then i made these!

 

The depth isn't in the combos anymore, its in the team setup and how well they control the stage... There are some advanced combos that the regular joe schmoe can't easily bust out, so that can separate the pros from the joes per sé...

 

I'm all about the storm/morg/jean team. DPhen is just too good with lvl 3 X-factor. I just decimate teams with her. Each time I learn one of her combos it just lvls up my game, since they're all touch of death combos. Even when DP ends up dying my storm morg game is strong enough by themselves to hold out.

 

M.O.D.O.K. is dope!!! I love how he combos... cr.A, st.B, cr.C, iad S, st.A, st.S, sj.A (Luigi kicks) for about 10 hits, j.B, air f+S+A xx qcfx2+AB... Golden!!!

 

I think Ive played a few people from here in mvc3 this morning. gg's to |worst player| and everyone else ive played in mvc3. Game is awesome.

Probably a change in characters too, I could come close to winning and just die totally to Sentinel as if I didn't exist hah!

another basics tutorial. This one is more compact which may appeal more to others.

 

I played this over the weekend. I did not like it at all. I hate having just light, medium, hard, and launcher attacks. I like my 6 buttons.

So I spent some time in the lab, got some combos, and feel a little more effective. Still having fun but I have to say, Sentinel is the most easy mode character ever, in MvC2 I think he was worse than MvC3. Add in level 3 Xfactor and shiiiiiet. I have to try and kill Sentinel before he's the last one left to stand a chance, granted I'm still balls at the game. Funny thing is I have almost more fun in the lab trying combos out than playing. (That's saying a lot as I hate practicing stuff in most games.)

I'm really curious to see how the game evolves, current most played characters I'm seeing:

Dante
Wesker
Sentinel
Magneto
Zero
Akuma
Ryu

Rare gems being a MODOK, Dorammu, Hulk, or Spencer. NEVER seen a She Hulk player so far.

 

Actually, the first game I played online had Spencer, She Hulk and Modok on the opposing team. I played against Sentinel against my brother, and his drone assist is annoying

 

If you take this game seriously it sucks spidey balls Sentinel is just way way way broken. But I guess it's alright for fun just don't get too serious with it

Kidding aside Marvel isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Most of the cast is really good unlike mvc2 which only 3. While yes Sentinel easy character to use he is very weak to any character with a teleport or speed. trust me this fellow has been nerfed so much from his mvc2 days.

If you want to be a true projectile scrub you would be using arther, doom(missile assist),and phoenix. You can use arther to spam away in the corner while dooms missile assist can keep them at bay until you get lvl 5 hyper meter then go in with phoenix and beast until you are about to die then go dark phoenix xfacter and takeout the whole team.

I think the only cheep thing in this game is the xfacter. You stop time anytime and hyper combo counter for huge damage.
