Desk is going to be the prime reason why CAPCOM is going to patch up the game.
    Especially that Akuma infinite.

interesting... but compare her to lets say Dante who has more HP and possibly more options?

the auto combo is pretty nasty, and her rush down is hard for me to deal with when I fight against her not gonna lie, but usually her low hp makes up for it.

Solar f+(H^x)+assist is can be tough to deal with, i think they should remove it... it doesn't chip at all though (minus the assist)

My first team is b-viper, b-trish, b-amy, which is pretty much all rushdown style where trish can zone if necessary (MSS style).

My second team I think is more solid: a-mag, y-sent, a-dante. This team seems like a very strong, santhrax style of play; useful against the rushdown.

    Marvel's not broke!!!!

I was also wondering if this works on the tiny characters i.e. V Joe/ Arther.

sentinel is SOOOO hard to deal with. his projectiles are to dominating its hard to do anything other than super skrolls meteor when you don't got a super gauge.

my hulk- dante- super skrull team seems to be getting pretty good but its hard to chain supers if I'm starting with dante unless I'm already close by.

This game is fun to watch albeit at times frustrating to play.

so far watching is all I've done since that can be background while I work on other things. I think a majority of players probably echo the commentators of WNF when referencing Floe and Justin. Paraphrase: They make it look like fun, I want to be able to play it like they do.

I don't get why when they have hulk vs sentinel 1v1 near the end of a few matches, the sentinel just doesnt spam projectiles? is there a counter to those that Hulk has that I don't know about cause that gives me alot of trouble as a hulk player...

hmm it seems gamma wave + charge/jumping is a good way to get closer as they have to block the gammawave and that give u a sec to move up

Might be because Hulk can Super any of Sentinel's projectiles on reaction. Sentinel probably didn't want to trade hits like that.

I'm quite liking MvC3. I thought it was going to be lame at first, but it turned out to be more fun than I expected.

In my experience, it rewards aggressive play. Even when you play keep away, you're constantly pressing buttons, being pro active. Some of the combos run a bit too long for my liking, but I feel rewarded for going out of my way to smash my opponent's face in. That can only be a good thing in a fighting game. [IMG]

I agree. When I watch those guys play it makes me want to play. Then I go online and ALL my opponents (every single one in a whole day) plays by running away, spamming projectiles/supers, and if you try to get close, they just call in a cheap assist (like Dante's). I have a lot more fun watching those guys play than I do actually playing against the majority of people online.

I gave it a week, but the truth is I just don't like this game. Its not a bad game, its just not for me. I'll be selling my copy tomorrow. Its best for me to get out now, before I take it farther and become more frustrated at the clash between my personality and the game's system.

You really think thats a good thing? Being able to play keep away and still feel like you doing something because you still pressing buttons to send projectile? I mean how can you feel your being rewarded for rushing down? They are so many openings using Triangles and delays during jumps that you just basically is just overwhelming you opponent more than anything.

I still think the game favors a well made rushdown team; especially if the team has teleporters. Imo a lot of people who are having trouble with keepaway arent punishing assists properly, running into random supers, or dropping combos/continueing block strings into unsafe enders.

Hell I rushdown people witg Modok lol, get that wave dash going son. Play that beautiful bean music.

Projectile spam is VERY punishable, ESPECIALLY with super skroll or dante and other teleporters.

also u can jump over like 90% of projectiles, but they can do the assist low, main high stuff, I'm not sure how to do counter that without a teleporter or a giant ray super like ryus.

it mostly comes down to matchups and having a balanced team.
Justin Wong plans to use a different team every week just to prove that the game is pretty balanced.
he raped everyone with that she hulk for instance.

I witnessed him do this in chinatown with Charlie,Cammy and Sabertooth one time against the A tiers lol!! After all he is the best MVC2 player in the world. So i guess he fall right into this game given that its much easier and you don't need anti-airs assist to clear things up anymore.

Honestly I wish the anti airs were more potent. Rushdown is almost too good, but then again we have pushblock. With the right setup however pushblock just helps you get raped if they make you whiff your push.

I'm addicted to quality anti airs but I don't want Hagar on my team. F'D'Pipe.

I wasn't too happy to see these come up today, however I'm hopeful that these aren't un-avoidable, just one way to take down the transformation.

Just fyi the Phoenix/Morg/Doom team is like noob repellant, but it also seems to work on good players too. I think phoenix has all the tools she needs to be a point character and when you include the DP transformation into her HP then she really has about average HP, so she's not thaat weak

Yeah and thats where the problem lies with me. There have to be a Ying and yang to rushdown but there ain't. I remember everybody was screaming about who the were gonna use this that and the thrid. Now as days go by and Youtube is readily availible unlike in 2000 when MVC2 dropped. People are seeing what works first hand and knowing what character will present the biggest challenge and how to counter it.
