Mega Man 9/Rockman 9 Revealed

Looks who talking, Ms "Tekken this, Doa that, Metal Gear fanboys, blah, blah" Did you bother to read my post, Ms thang? Apparently not. Eveything I stated are FACTS on the situation of Capcom and their past. A. if you purchased a item on Wiiware, there is NO proff of your transaction. So therefore, if your Wii gets stolen, or can't be repair, you CAN'T re-download your items on your new Wii. Unlike XBL, PSN and Steam. Where everything is tide to your debit card/Credit and Screen name.
B. The way Capcom treated Clover Studios was retarded, any fan can tell you that.
C. Read the REST of my Post. Seriously, read before you Quote the kid, you dig.
D. And stop derailing threads and play VF5 for once...Seriously.

 

Each recent attempt at a new Mega Man game has felt like a re-hash... they've really mutilated hell out of this dead horse. I adore the nes installments (up to 3), and the fresh look of the X series at first, but what a joke releasing the latest game in retro fashion. This is the year 2008 - what a cop out. I'm not 9 years old anymore.

Also, it's unfair to ask people to overlook graphics this day and age. There's no excuse for it. As much as people are gonna hope this game carries itself on gameplay understand that this franchise is so tired at this point. Show me something new.

Nobody has a beef on 2D, is the approach Capcom is going by. Look at King Of Fighters XII and BlaznBlue, people are INDEED looking forward to those "2D"titles. They're going backwards, and he's been whore to a point that he's asshole put's the Black Hole to shame. My sister free Cell has games that look better then this crap. They're going backwards with the gameplay and graphics...This shit better be free.

 

If there is one thing I hated about Mega Man 8/Rockman 8 was the "JUMP! JUMP! SLIDE! SLIDE!" part(once its speed starts increasing) in Frost Man's stage. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

 

I just noticed that they are going completely retro with the design. This is not something i agree with. I thought they would go with the later part of the series, the x-x4, or even the Megaman 8 style. Having the game run on such an outdated format is lazy. I am sure I will give it a play but most likely will not enjoy the game as much. I mean we have the complete Megaman series as well as the X series compilations for the PS2 and Xbox. Why not release those on XBL or PSN rather then make a new old game. Lame

 

I still say this would be best as a handheld and nothing more.

 

The game is coming to PSN and XBL too.

 

Source? If that's the case, good. People who want to play this title could purchased this with no worries now.
