I think it's THE BEST TRAILOR of E3!! I love Big Boss!!
-There is plenty Japanese dialogue which made me excessively happy!! The new voices of Nemesis, Master, Ocelot, Spy are very good.
The guy, who is giving the mission briefing to "Snake", is voiced by Ginga Banjou (Liquid Snake). It's sounds like Solid Snake and Liquid talking to each other but allies.

-Harry's music themes are off the hook!!!!!!

-Kojima and chums show how a game should be done! Additionally Kojima shows how a trailer should be done!!!

    Briefing by Liquid Snake's voice actor? /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif.

Me and my roommate (who is a MG buff) watched the trailer a million times, and we LOVE IT!

Seriously, Boss wipes the floor with Solid (if it's really Boss), and his voice is badass! I totally love him in every way.... I really really hope there isn't some kind of twist that shows this is some sort of a VR for solid to 'relive' the boss experience or something... I just want to it be really the 60's.... playing Boss the whole game...

I guess we just have to wait for the full game... or if someone leaks that stolen demo /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

-Yup Liquid's JP voice (Ginga Banjou) is back one more time. I guess Cam Clarke will voice that guy (A Master Miller alike guy).

-Also Aono Takeshi is back (Roy Campbell) voicing a guy whos says "defection has never crossed my mind! I love my country. I love this land". Probably Paul Eiding will return.

-"Snake" 's voice is Ohtsuka Akio (Solid Snake, Solidus) and as usual he is ass-kickin'!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably David Hayter will voice the English "Snake".

-Nemesis has a bad-ass voice but don't know who the hell the voice actor is 'cuz he's a new chara.

-The demo was JP version so you need a modified PS2 to play it (if you manage to obtain it first).

    Re: Metal Gear Solid 3!

Are you sure Boss's voice actor is the same and Solid's? We compared the 2 of them and they seemed different! (I think the old and new voices are both on the same trailer; the very first part with Raiden and Snake has the old voice, and later parts had the new?). Are the names mentioned somewhere (I am not saying I don't believe you, I am just surprised hehe /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif )?

I am also surprised that the other guys made a return too! Except we know that they are playing different characters... But for Ohtsuka/Snake, do you think this voice was meant to be used to keep people confused as to the real identity of this Snake?

If he is still the same voice actor though he is better than ever! He changed his voice a little bit and fits perfectly for Big Boss. I am not sure I would like David Hayter for Big Boss though, they need a 'stronger' voice that would fit Boss's image and body proportions IMO /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I have both MGS & MGS2 JP versions. I live to play JP MGS titles. Ohtsuka Akio is my fav voice!!!!! I can recognize his voice better than my mother's voice!!!!!!!
    It's Ohtsuka Akio.
Ohtsuka Akio was used also to voice Solidus Snake in MGS2 and hence I don not think that it was to confuse us.

Jin: I think you can find good stills from the trailer in the konamijpn site: http://www.konamijpn.com/products/mgs3/english/index.html.

Kanna: Any news about the demo? I've seen the 11 minutes video of the first scene with the codec conversation. Some interesting stuff there; boss is Snake's mentor, and she abandoned him for a top secret mission "5 years, 72 days, and 16 hours" ago, as he put it /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Major Tom mentions there is a reason Jone Doe is called Snake, and he will find out later.

Para Medic also talks about names, and says his/her name won't be revealed until snakes makes it back alive /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

If you wanna play a MGS3 demo you should hope that they guys who stole it will start copying it. (cause KCEJ has no intetion to release a MGS3 demo)

From what I've read the game can be tedious at times. Which means during gameplay while you check your camo menu the fast pace of the game slows down tremendously.

You were running away from 20 guards, then suddenly press start and take away all the adrelanine from that moment.

Anyway that's what i've read but I don't believe it for a shit. I will love this new system no matter what.

    it's a great system =P I played it

I really liked the fact that when I was firing on them from cover, they dove for cover and radioed in for support. Very realistically I might add. I also like the cqc system, it's fun and makes the whole neck snapping thing from the last game look really amatuer.

Sounds awesome, I can't wait till it releases. I hope Konami releases the demo at least.

From what I've read no its not going to be the same. This time you just see the other person's face.

    Re: Metal Gear Solid 3!

The codec screen is different. When you recieve a call it's basically the same, however the actual codec screen is the in game model of Snake crouching with his hand on his ear, and the picture of the person he is talking to on the left (I think) of him. The picture isn't 3D, it was black and white if I remember. The artwork is really nice. The codec isn't in your ear anymore, it's more like a very small headset (I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

Although the first bit of it was very codec heavy when I first started playing, I have this sneaking suspicion that the huge twist that was mentioned by Kojima will probably involve losing your codec.

Thankx. (But it's not codec. It's a radio)

MGS 3 is looking great, but one thing I want to know. IF this is a true sequel to MGS 2 why the hell is it in the 60's????????

    Re: Metal Gear Solid 3!

But it's not a sequel. When "Snakes" dies in MGS3 there is the "game over paradox". Because if "Snake" dies then there is no Solid Snake, no Liquid Snake, no Solidus etc....

yea... the letters turn into "paradox:" from game over... =)

And yes, it is a radio =P so used to saying codec
