Yes it would be nice if this site's discussions forum keeps a level of maturity above sites like say 4-chan (never been there, avoid it by rep).

This is not an obscure fan site. Anyone who gets interested in VF, starts looking for an online resource Googling words like "VF Goh strat" or "VF5 PS3 vs Xbox", will see this site shown at the top of the first page. It's not like if you want to look up Halo and finds 5000 websites.

People who try to make this forum their private "No girls allowed" or "No nerds allowed" treehouse club really need to gtfo. It's not as if this game churns out new players every minute; as a senior member of the community (by virtue of skill and RL age), you can't be arrogantly exclusive and alienate potential supporters.

If anyone want to post like an internet dickwad in order to get some IRL steam out of their system after a bad day at work... seriously, go to 4-chan.

Po is right. This forum is not private or encrypted. Anyone can just Google-surf over and read. This game franchise needs help. Why the F--- would you start talking shit about a famous actress (whose IRL personality actually seems likeable, honest, and down-to-earth) as soon as she publicly supports the game you play???

God I loved that game.

But I was a little kid. The sight of instant-muscle steroid balls kind of freaked me out more than any of the monsters.

Anyway, I dare you to try some forums on 4chan. Not the pr0n or the random one. Try some travel, fitness or science forums. The level of discussion differs, but it may surpise you with the level of sophistication. Don't judge the book by its cover. And don't think that one thread would ruin the good name of VFDC.

 

Okay so I didn't look at the post dates of this thread, sheesh!

And yeah I know exactly what that image means. I loved Altered Beast. Never could get very far myself; just watched older kids beat the game.
