I think he's at 1.6 for K/D but the sheer number of kills is pretty mind blowing to me. He has over 34,000 kills and I have a little over 12,000 but I feel like I play a shitload of games.

I've noticed that people are getting better at the game as far as intimate knowledge of the maps and their general skills. I know each map very well but the more I play the more I realize how well thought out the maps are. For example on Skid Row in the book store you can hide to the left of the street entrance but the bookshelf is placed exactly in the right place to block view of the two back rooms from this position so it's not an OP camp spot.

I've been using the L86 recently although NOBODY else in the world thinks it's any good. I use the Stinger as a secondary because I've decided there's not that much of point in choosing anything but a Launcher as a secondary (though I would love to hear you guys' opinion on this)...

Stinger as a second is the way to go, at least for TDM which is what I play mostly. It's fun to pop fools with the SPAS but shooting the other team's Harrier/Chopper out of the air is so much more beneficial for you and your team in TDM because you don't allow these kill-streaks to rack up kills for the other team and possibly an even more powerful kill-streak like a Pavelow or AC130...

I don't see the point of using anything else in TDM. You might have a shotgun but I can just hip-fire with the L86 and kill you real quick and do it from a longer range. The pistols I don't like and don't need with the amount of ammo in my LMG. Shoguns are fun but take a long time to switch to which truly limits their use for close range killing (which is all they can do) because you can't pull it out on reaction. Machine pistols are OK and I will use these too at times, like when I use a SMG and don't have Scavenger as my first perk. With Scavenger there's no reason to switch off your main SMG cause your SMG is just way better in almost every situation. And again, you have shotgun, I will still kill you with some SMG hip-firing.

That leaves me with Launchers... The thumper is good, the AT4 isn't good at all, Stinger takes out a Harrier/Attack Chopper in one hit which just can't be beat by any other secondary cause your helping you and your team win so much more by knocking the other team's shit out of the air. I think the RPG is unlocked a little late so if you want to use it a lot you have to delay your Prestige. I think the Javelin misses a little too often to be as good as the others.

    Opinions are very welcome though!

BTW - I'm definitely going to make my clan tag VFDC!!!

Geez Fu unji I only have like 8 hours less than you I'd never cheat lol.

Also did you know there is a glitch with the fal? If you put a holographic sight on it, it increase the minimum damage it does from 35 to 40 meaning that if you use stopping power it is a 2 shot kill from ANY distance.

The holographic sight also makes the spread on the m16 much tighter apparently, making it comparable to the famas.

Social one time I was dropped into a game where the enemies nuke timer was already counting down. I take the loss leave the lobby search again and get dropped into....THE SAME SITUATION. LMAO. I guess that's why you can't really take your win/loss ratio too seriously.

Gernburgs, I have a class made for shooting down air support. Have you ever tried slight of hand with a stinger? You can shoot down a chopper gunner lickity split before he even knows whats happening, but there is the disadvantage of only having two rounds and no more due to not having scavenger on.

Yeah, I usually rock SOH Pro for the faster aim down sight with the LMGs cause they're heavy and take too long to shoulder without it.

I'm pretty sure the chopper gunner has some counter-measure flares so you can't actually shoot it down even with 2 missiles cause they won't hit while it still has flares. I'm not positive about this though, it might only have one flare so you can kill with the second missile. The AC130 has 3 flares which means you need two people to shoot it down, you can't hit it until the 4th shot! The chopper gunner targets you really fast which makes locking onto it without dying a lot harder, especially if you need to reload and lock on again.

The FAL with Holographic doing 40 dmg is definitely true, even with Bling and a silencer. So you get two hit, silenced kills from any range - that is pretty nasty but you still have to pull the trigger twice. I've used that load out a lot though cause I like 2 hit kills. It's just so much easier to hit enemies twice than it is to hit three times - maybe they're running past you and you have a short window to hit or you are firing at each other and whoever gets to 100 dmg first is going get the kill and walk away to regain their health. 2 hits to kill > 3 hits to kill in MW2.

I've also noticed that when you win by a nuke (not that I have ever gotten a nuke but others on my team have) everyone, including the guy that launched it gets another death. The guy that launches it get kills for every player on the other team, but everyone on his team just gets another death and the match win. Depending on how often your team is nuking (not too, too often I imagine) you will get extra deaths you didn't exactly earn.

Nope the chopper gunner has one flare and the AC130 has two, so yes you do need two people to shoot it down. Unless you have scavenger as your blue perk or you die after launching a missile.

Just put cold blooded on and stay away from teamates, you shouldn't get killed before you shoot it down.

Also you can use any attachment or bling combo on the FAL as long as you have the holo, min dmg will be 40.

Coldblooded pro is a very useful perk because it removes the auto aim and hit markers. There is a trick for getting coldblooded pro very fast, put a helicopter into a death spin and shoot it. Every shot counts as a kill, it took me 3 choppers to get 250 CB kills. It's technically a glitch I guess but one worth exploiting in my opinion and one that definately does not hurt any one.

I'm willing to bet money you are right about the number of flares cause I'm not positive what I posted was correct regarding them.

The chopper death-spin for CB Pro is an awesome tip and one I haven't seen anywhere but here. Do they count as kills in the match as well or JUST for the CB kills towards CB Pro?

Also - you like CB better than stopping power? I can't get past using stopping power for that one less bullet needed to kill. I almost always go for SP but maybe I should move away from it? I'm sure me using it as much as I do is pretty noobish [IMG]

I do like Hardline but then I feel like I'm not getting as many/easy kills... I do use Danger Close for my explosives class but I don't use the explosives class very much. I usually get obsessed with one gun and use it religiously for a long time and then I suddenly switch and think another gun is the way to go. That's how I've ended up using the L86 [IMG]

NUKING is kind of a wasted killstreak unless your playing domination or your team is a bunch of dumbasses. if you have a 25 killstreak in team death match your probably going to winning.

I see your point here. But if you are good enough to get 25 kill streaks regularly then why not take the guaranteed win?

You make a strong point though.

I'm pretty lame cause I usually just use a 3,4,5 kill streak setup. I go UAV, care package and then sentry gun. I use the UAV right away and if I get to 5 then I go run somewhere safe and have the sentry and care package dropped in the same place (I have been burned for this a few times though and lost both)...

Sadly, I'm too reckless to get higher streaks with any real reliability so I just go with I think I will get the most of in the long run. The 3,5,7 with Predator Missile in the middle ain't bad either. Once you get to 5, the next one is almost automatic with the Predator Missile (you can get two or even three if they are too bunched up) and then you have a Harrier or attack chopper ALMOST automatically...

They way I've been doing my kill streaks by the prestige.

1 prestige: uav, counter uav, whatever I'm in the mood for. (prestige after one 1000 uav counter uav)

2 prestige: air drop, sentry, and emergency air drop. (prestige after 1000 air drops)plus my teammates are great at holding places down. air drops (ammo) also make for great bate when camping.

This has been useful because it help me understand how each killstreak can effect the battle. (like uav and counter uav don't seem much but when you with a bunch of akimbo fucks that just run and gun it can turn the game around)

Now I'm wondering if I should go for air support or hele support for my next prestige.

The kills only count towards the coldblooded challenge.

It depends on the class, only time I really use coldblooded is on classes meant for taking down air support or the odd stealth class.

I'm more partial to stopping power as you never can tell with online just how many hit markers you are going to get before the guy goes down regardless of how much dmg you know you are doing to him.

Also you know an amazing fun class?

    Akimbo mini uzi
    Akimbo G18
    Marathon pro
    Lightweight pro
    Steady Aim pro

It's been rumoured that the mini uzis are the most accurate akimbo sub machine guns and the TTK on these is ridiculous in CQC. Especially as the pro feature on lightweight lets you shoot almost immediatly after sprinting. Obviously you arent going to be getting kills from anything over mid range but you'll have a heck ov'a lotta fun doing it. Use these on Invasion or Favela and you can mop up on kills.

    awesome tip on CB pro.

About map balance. I agree that map balance is mostly really good. I think it is funny Skidrow was listed as being a balance map. Because it is actually pretty unbalanced IMO, if you have the right load out (i'm sure any map is). I always look to make it to the building on the south of the map. Once there i drop a claymore at one entrance, usually the one to the laundromat cause it is on the way. So i've said before, i love love love HB sensor and holographic site on my m16 (or really any gun). No with this u can just camp in that building and face the book store hallway (or whatever it is). I gun down anyone coming thru there. Man, you can even see peoples feet by the forklift thingy at the back of the hallway and double shot there feet and get the kill. Now i can stay looking thru my scope the entire time. And u can see the edge of the HB sensor. Even jammed up in the window (by the big hole in the wall) your HB sensor will pick anyone entering the room from either side. So as soon as i see someone entering the room, i switch over to my 2ndary shotgun, strafe around the corner and blast them. It is definitely OP, i feel like no one person coming in the room even has a chance at surviving unless they have ninja to not show up on my HB sensor,

    gerns,

I never use rocket launchers. Altho, i admit, i always cross my fingers and hope my team mates are. [IMG] also, i absolutely love people who shoot down killstreak rewards. Thank you to all those who do (but only if ur on my team).

Since i like the m16, i like the akimbo 1887. They are a bitch weapon i know. But, i sometimes feel like if others use them i have to. I definitely agree about they pull out so slowly, but, i like the HB sensor so i usually only pull them out if i know someone is right around the corner [IMG] I feel like i need a good weapon that fires quickly to offset the fact the my fav weapon is a 3 burst and can't mow people down in groups.

A good tip with the shotgun, or any 2ndary weapon that is pertains to: With my akimbo 1887, the first time u pull them out takes the longest, because u load them also, or do some kinda weird extra long animation. So as soon i spawn, i pull them out so i can get that long animation out of the way, and then switch back to my primary. That way if i need them in a pinch they come out quicker. I'd suggest if you have a 2ndary weapon with a load animation try it. Will it work with the thumper? Can you pull it out and get that long load out of the way, then put it away without firing and whip it out quicker when u need it? i don't know, but if you have a 2ndary weapon that needs to load when u pull it out, then give it a try. it makes a HUUUUUUUUUGGGGEEEEE difference with the 1887, you'd be crazy not to do it, it will save ur ass alot.

I think (not 100% positive) that you can cancel that initial animation. If the amount of bullets shown is full you can cancel the rest of the animation with a sprint or a quick Y,Y press. Obviously you guys know you can cancel part of your reloading animation but because the gun is full when you first pull it out you can cancel immediately. I'm not totally positive about this on all guns, but it has worked for me as I always try to cancel that initial load animation.

For the Thumper, you can only carry one spare grenade so it must be fully loaded when you pull it out. That initial animation is just for show I believe (but I'm not completely sure so forgive me if I'm wrong...) Borris probably knows for sure.

Haha Social, I have ninja on almost every class because of people like you. [IMG]

The heartbeat sensor is pretty good actually, I only recently realised it beeps when an enemy comes on the screen which makes it like 5 times better. HBS plus silenced tar plus headphones equals borderline cheating on FFA. I got my 3rd nuke that way playing on estate yesterday [IMG]
