so i've tried counter UAV, and it hasn't been "basically garaunteeing me a nuke, because i have just long enough to get the next 24 kills before their radar comes back on"...

What gametype do you ususally play in?

 

Well i was always team deathmatch, but just recently i've ventured into domination. Haven't really done any of the objective based stuff. I switched to domination, just to kinda change the maps up, if ya know what i mean.

What modes do u like?

 

I know I've been away for awhile, but the last time I checked this was a VF site. I'm sure there are plenty of places dedicated to SSF4, Call Of Duty,etc. If we spent this much energy promoting U.S. VF scene we would be playing VF5R by now.

 

Did u miss the 100+ pages of "energy promoting" vf5r/fs...of course u did. See what happens when u run ur mouth out of turn. You should go back away for awhile more.

 

I doubt it man, the 4 or 5 people that contribute to this thread are hardly going to convince SOJ to commit thousands to develop a console port. Dont be so obnoxious.

I do visit COD sites, it's where I get all my info from. I also visit this site because I spent the last 2 and a half years playing VF.

And yeah lol FS is the latest generation of VF....

 

Social I'm mainly keen on Demolition because it gives by far the most amount fo exp and I'm kinda aiming for 9th or 10th pres.

Ranking up has it's ups and downs. On one side you don't use certain guns like the AK or others because its a chore to unlock the attachments. On the the other side I'm sure I've become much more proficient with others because I've had to use them so often.

Other game modes I like are Ground war and If I've got a headset (which I don't atm) FFA.

It's weird playing TDM or something after playing another game mode for a while because all the choke points change, you need to be way more cautious.

Like-wise you can often catch people off-guard in other modes by being where they don't expect you to be.

 

Not that I'm bragging or anything but I just went 72-11 playing demo on overgrown

(I actually kinda am bragging)

wow, good job boris, u added a video that had been removed to rejuvenate the thread. lol. i meant to tell u great job on ur 72-11, but i guess it didn't post. I've been playing more vf recently, and then just got MH3, and shit i don't have enough time so mw2 has been getting the short end of the stick on that. But it reminds me of vf in that mw2 is just so sublimely awesome that i don't think i can really ever be truly done playing it.

 

Ah no way it was playing an hour ago lol. Lol I hear that on MW2, just hope they fix commando and DC, my only bug bears. What's MH3 Social?

So, i just turned on MW2 for the first time in about a month and a half, and i noticed something new. There seems to be a bunch of people running around with button symbols ( yellow Y button, joystickR1 button) as part of their name. Anyone know what the deal with this is?

 

They just modded their names it doesn't effect gameplay so I don't mind it. The great thing is if one of them annoys you can file a compliant for the instaban.

Actually it was annoying. One jerk had a name that went all the way across the screen, so anytime he did anything it obstructed your vision. Not much, but every little bit matters.

 

These guys also hack matches to go on for hours, my friend ended up in one where there was a nuke timer for 7 hours just ticking away, he stayed for about 2 hours just getting challenges

You'll also see the majority of them have finished their 10th prestige and have the spinning skull icon (which no one knows how to actually unlock legitimately yet), so if you see these its a good sign they are haxzors.

Funny thing is the majority of them suck at the game..

 

I have only met 3 tenth prestige that can actually play good. Most of them just get mad out me and my team for controlling the map. They call it camping I call it conquering.

BTW being called a Fag on xbox live means your winning at least that's always been my experience.

If you are sitting somewhere overseeing the map, IMO, that's controlling. If you are huddled on ur belly in a dark corner for 10 minutes aiming at peoples feet...

The former is a sniper's (me) dream. Then latter really only becomes annoying when the majority of the other team is hidey-holing and u can't find anyone to shoot.

But ultimately, anyone can play the game any way they want. Sure some peeps are annoyed at me 1 shotting them from across the map all day.

 

What my team does for example like on afghan is 2 people take the cliff, (1 at the anti-air gun and 1 sniping at the noob spot.) Two in the airplanes (2 keep them in the cave) and 1 at the spawn and 1 at the bunker. This is to keep them stuck at that back area and hitting them with killstreaks until game over. When you play with a team that knows their spot, it happens rather easily.
