I dno...there was one point where a cpu bad guy shot an airport cop (not sure what would have happened if I had shot him) and the cop fell on his ass slumped over bleeding from the gut. As I got closer he held out his hand waving like 'don't finish me off', I passed by him then went back, as if to help but he was already dead. That felt kinda personal, even though it's a cpu character doing a scripted action. This was before you go down the elevator stairs, prob about a minute in if anyone wants to check it out. It kinda tugged at my heart strings a bit there.

But I see what you are saying, Infinity Ward probably had to think very carefully about what they could or couldnt show and there were probably a lot of tense meetings before they actually let the level stay in.

Here's the thing SDS, and i realize i could be wrong. BUT. I feel like the heartbeat sensor is teaching me how to play the game. It dictates pace, i'm learning how to peak around corners when i have an idea where peeps are, and i have been able to apply that when i have weapons w/out heartbeat sensor on. I look forward to (really really do) when i can take it off, use bling with 2 different attachments and play better. But for now, i feel like HB sensor is kinda helping me learn the maps and the hotspots too.

I was wondering. With HB sensor, and FMJ, couldn't u be outside/inside building and straight blast thru the wall to kill people without ever getting near a door/window? Wouldn't that be pretty wicked? or do u have to be near a door jamb/window, or do can u only shoot thru interior walls?

@ Social - You can blast through walls but sometimes you might alarm to you spot. Its cool if you hit them before they went behind the wall. Things about COD is the higher the level you are the easier its is to get kills when you power up. You can't depend on the heartbeart sensor against good players/Teams because they will most likely cover the tracks or camp. I use Scrambler pro so its will knock out your radar and make you a little bit more cautious.

Keep in Mind Social....enemies tend to run and online shooting at running opponentsis kinda difficult with lag. Sometimes you might be waiting around the corner for a enemy and he might run up to you and stab you because you was'nt expecting him to run.

Another thing about the heartbeat sensor: tell your teammates where the baddies are. You are human UAV with that equipped which is great for setting up Javal fire, flash bang, smoke (too hide your teams movement or detracting the enemy for flanking) and other anti camping gear.

and another thing stop hiding in the bunker (in that stage where everyone runs to the bunker) it is only going to get you fragged.

I enjoyed this game very much as a non-fps player.

    Re "No Russian"

I think the level was well orchestrated and cold. I enjoyed it from a production standpoint, however, for those coming down a bit hard on people who are bothered by this scene:

You are highly desensitized. It's not a bad thing, but remember the types of games you enjoy. If you look at the movies and games we own I'm willing to bet 90% of them center around violence.

Also, it really isn't fair to compare this type of scene to the tongue in cheek GTA series. It's not the same - this isn't you running up and down a street hitting/shooting people. Think of the context.

It was a fun experience. The White House battle was sweet.

is the FAL just better than the SCAR-H. The stats just look all out better.

Also, i'd say about 20-25% of my losses come from when i first click to join a match, then i get put in a match already in progress, on a team that is 3 minutes/10 kills away from losing. I find this very very annoying. I mean shit. Thanks, i'll just wait another 3 fucking minutes and play a fresh game if u don't mind. Is there anyway to choose not to be queued into existing matches?

    ^Bullet spread of different guns.

It's interesting, I was getting way more kills with the M4 before I started adding attachments, then I couldn't hit shit with it.

Also the ACR looks to have redonkulous accuracy, definatly gunna give it a try when I unlock it.

@Social, the Fal is single shot not even semi-auto so it's basically however fast you can squeeze the trigger.

If you enter a game like that just 'patrol' a small area untill the time runs out. By patrol I mean maybe in an area 1/16 of the map just move from cover to cover. This way you should know exactly how many enemies are around you and you shouldn't get gangraped by an unfairly superior team.

There is no way to avoid joining an existing match afaik.

thanks boris. I had actually been considering taking the ACOG off my scar-H in favor of the red dot, because i felt like it was affecting the distribution of my shots!! Then i got to thinking that in real life, it wouldn't matter that the scope caused ur sights to bounce more (in relation to where the shot went) but i think this is right. I'll give it a shot.

Also, i kinda wanna go back to the Famas and get some attachments. But i can't help but discriminate against it because it is the default.

It's the shit man! But if you don't dig it with the iron sights then it's prob not the gun for you. Holographic seems to be the best attachment and has a very similar feel to the irons.

You think this is hard? Count yourself lucky you're not playing the PC version, it's like a different game...

the acog tends to give you tunnel vision so I stray away from it. Now it's not as bad as cod4 though.

I started using the light machine guns and have found my calling in this game...

There's nothing like unloading 100 bullet clip at somebody,oh yeah!

Did you find it to be ultimate defense weapon also know as the "your not coming this way gun."

Yes I do. I also find that because most people use assault rifles, my gigantic clip of bullets throws them off in a fire fight cause I can just unload bullets for 3 seconds straight, then they think I have to reload and might stick their head out, and then I dump another 50 bullets out at them. The drawback is moving slow and that the reload time is ridiculously slow, even with Sleight of Hand Pro.

From what I've read, a lot of people think the LMGs suck but they make the game fun for me and that's all I can ask. You guys gotta experience the feeling of dumping the 100 bullet clip at the other team, it rules!

I still haven't perfected my strategy of using it though. I need to find good places on each level to lock down with my infamous bullet hails...

What I like to do is hold spot down like a ally or my friends back and use 3 round burst on 1 vs. 1 situation unless I meet the other team then its Rambo time.

Here's a hint (never ever reload)

p.s. which light mac gun are you using I like the R.P.D
