Hi Guys

Since its Saint-Patrick's weekend, i will be downtown on sunday with my friends to have a couple of Guinness.

I can play on saturday afternoon though.

Ok hi guys. Just got to this forum because of VF5. Since none of my friends play VF and play tekken a lot ive been neglecting VF but seeing this thread gave me the motivation to play VF again. Im a really average player since i have no one but the computer and what i read for improving myself but ive been playing fighting games for more than 12 years so ill improve fast. Anyways im really interested in coming to play with you guys.

Unfortunately i can't make it this week-end because i have a chess tournament in Trois -Rivieres but next week and so on im gonna be at all of the organized nights that i can be on.

If your in any other fighting games please let me know. im a big Guilty gear slash fan and i will give a good challenge to any Capcom vs snk and tekken players.

But still VF is my priority right now so count me in for the next nights your organizing something.

What time the gathering start? Zero have to work Saturday night. So he leaves before 8PM.

K i might have a chance to come and i hope you guys wont be angry about this but im used to playing with a controller so i hope it wont be a major problem to plug and unplug controllers and sticks.I will buy one tough cause i know it would be easier doing certain moves like that dreaded Teishitsu Dantai.

But i have a question? Where are we gathering??

 

Nah it's no problem if you use the pad. Atleast in 5 you can customize button layouts right in the match. Also if you use the default button config, the Sega Stick is setup to use the same ones.

I'll be there! ... if I find the place. What's the closest subway station? (I'm pretty sure it was mentionned through the 19 last pages, but I can't seem to find it.)

Is there anything I should bring? Controller? Coke? Beer? Potato salad (my mom always seems to think she has to bring that when she visit someone... I don't know why)?

Hey everyone,

I've been on VFDC for quite few years now but never actually registered any account until now.
I used to play VF2, VF3 and VF4 at Pinocchio(where the good VF competition was) on St-Cath/St-Mathiew years ago when it was still open. Then moved to Daniel to play Tekken (where the good Tekken competition was). But both arcades closed down 2-3 years ago. I used to play Tekken and KOFXI with Mokkori and Zero sometimes at 2000+ but that place really sucked.

It's good to see MTL has its own corner here on VFDC.
Anyways, I mainly use Akira and Kage. As per my name, basically I suck now since I haven't played for ages except few games of VF5 recently with Mokkori.
I see that you guys have a gathering on this upcoming Saturday and I'm really interested to play some of you guys. Mokkori and I can probably pass by on Saturday if there is still room for 2 more guys and some Molson Dry ^_^

 

Well ill be there this saturday. Even if im supposed to be on my chess tournament Im just playing VF like crazy since i bought it and haven't been studying or playing chess at all/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif

I have a couple of questions tough?

1- How many T.V.s and console are there at the meeting place?
2- How many people are surely coming?
3- And i have a friend who lives in montreal that would probably come since he's a fan too so would it be alright for him to come?

Well just a little post about whats confirmed for saturday would be nice and BTW are the adress and phone number i found on the first pages fo the thread still good?

And who do you guys play with? Except Cuz which i read uses about all the characters in the game.

I mainly use Akira and Jacky but i can manage with Lau, Lei fei, El blaze (which i love but to be honest suck with it )and Eileen.

 

I'll probably be using Lion (and I won't be pronouncing it as Leon =P). I may dabble in some other characters as well. I haven't used Aoi in a long long while...

Also, since it's St-Patty's day tomorrow, will cuz take care of our St-Patty needs? >.>

And yeah, specific details would be awesome. The number of players showing up, total setups (1 I guess), etc...

 

One setup, no idea who's coming, and I have a lady friend coming over so I'm getting rid of all of you around 5~6ish /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

But really I just want to meet people and get a feel for what we have. Next time I'll try for a longer session a possible BBQ or something.
