Montreal - Lets get something going.

So for next gathering: June 2 (not this Saturday, but next Saturday) at 2:00pm?

We should do Ranbat (Ranking Battle) in every gathering. To see who's number one in VF.

 

Ya, that would be sweet. And like we discussed at the last gathering, maybe we can keep a tally on wins/losses and have a point system to rank the players here in MTL and post the results on VFDC. We can have monthly or tri-monthly stats, and total stats.

We also need a little trophy for the "Ranbat". =P Maybe we can each pitch in like...$5 each to get one...or just steal something from Cuz and Fagan. >.>

 

Ahh yeah. I know where I'm going to rank. yeah.

 

Ok so another round up next weekend? I'm busy getting over a hang over this weekend.

 

Lol. Alright...June 9 it is. Also...is there any chance of getting an extra setup going? I know space is limited...but what about hooking one up to one of your PCs/laptops? Or are they reserved for LOTR? =P Of course, there comes the whole issue of where to get an extra PS3 and copy of VF5 (i.e. who's willing to carry a $700 machine all the way there).

On a side note...I can't believe I got a PS3 but no VF5 yet. That should be a testament to just how broke the PS3 made me, lol. Well, whenever my next pay cheque comes in, you can be sure it's the first purchase I make. =P

 

Zero brought his PS3 yesterday. Zero's parent were surprised to see how big the console is. The Asid adapter is working great despite the small problem, but we're playing VF5. Nobody isn't going hold left for seven seconds because there's a guard button for blocking.

Im Kasht, Fighting Games Promotions Coordinator for JC Media. Im not sure whether you already know, but as part of the UGS tournament series, we will be stopping at Richmond, Boston, New York, and DC, with UGS Finals in Atlantic City, NJ.

I know it is very short notice but the UGS Richmond event is this weekend (June 9-10) and will have Virtua Fighter 5 among other games. First price gets $500, Second gets $200, and Third gets $100. Also, top 4 qualify for the UGS Final event.

Just can't stand the heat. Random temperature.

 

I just hate the summer in Montreal. Hell I hate all the seasons in Montreal compared to back home.
