Montreal - Lets get something going.

Just out of curiousity, where do you guys buy your joysticks? Is there any special little place downtown or do you just buy them from the big chain stores (like EB games)?

 

I'm down for the gathering. I owned a TK5 Hori stick not to long ago ( I brought it from someone since Friday).

For someone who are curious, I'm an asian guy wearing glasses and I also speak french and engrish. Mainly a Sarah player. A small detail, I'm not really a person who likes to chat much.

 

I'd be interrested! I know 2 other VF4 players, but they don't know Evo and I don't know if they'd be in, but we'll see.

I'll be shooting for next Tuesday August 8th.

Plus, I figured there must be some place downtime that specializes in arcade stuff. You know, one of those shops that nobody knows about, but they're simply the "best".

The stick I got isn't exactly worth bragging about. One day I'll build my very own Catch22 stick. But until that happens I would like something along the quality of the Tekken 5 stick. I just can't find anyplace that sells them.

What about my old stick? I'll just sell it to my cousin. It's not that bad. It gets the job done. Or I could always keep it for when my cuz comes over.

My cuz is into VF too...but he isn't exactly the social type. I'll force him to come one day. I'm sure he'll like it. He plays Brad, Sarah, Jeff, and Shun. I usually kick his ass (except when I choose Goh /versus/images/graemlins/indifferent.gif).

I just went to the EB games in Laval (on the 13) to pick up T5 and Alpha Anthology for my cuz and I saw the T5+HRAP bundle!

Could've saved myself some cash...

Oh well, that's life I guess.

Anyways, if anyone is interested, they have a bundle (I'm assuming it's their last one) for around $85 +tax (might be more, I just had a quick glance, and I think I saw $84.99).

 

If you want I can buy the one you ordered online from you. I've wanted a "real" real arcade pro for a bit, so if the price difference annoys you, I'll buy the pro from you and you can go for the bundle.

 

Well, it doesn't really annoy me so much as I finally found it after I went and ordered it online. Plus, I already had T5 (the one I bought was for my cuz), but I suppose I could've bought the bundle for my cuz and kept the stick...

I'm sure you could do it with the T5 stick too.

 

Let me warn you. The T5 stick is not a true HRAP. Parts inside are inferior and its harder to mod.

Still a decent stick {I still use mine} but HRAP is much better.
