Lol. Freddy. Didn't Ed Boon say that DLCis based on fans request. People been online using twitter and Facebook for months begging for Tanya, Frost, Reiko and so on. How the hek did he manage to pick Freddy. Not buying. But at least Freddy fans are happy.

Hmmm, Vita seems to be getting a surprising amount of fighters already. Would love to see a port of Evo or FT on there, chances of that happening have to be pretty slim though.

anyone here is excited to get it on May 1st (NA) or on May 4th (UK), the Vita version?

Do any of u by any chance know if the PSN version will cost less than the retail version or be the same ($39.99)?
And also how big the memory size of the PSN version might be? Are there any guesses at least?

Not sure for, but aren't they typically like $5 less?

I do plan on getting MK9 on Vita, but that'll be when I get a Vita, which won't be until Phantasy Star Online 2 comes out. That'll be a console seller for me.

I've been playing MK9 since it came out between casual and tournament levels. I starting out maining Smoke, got slack for that, went to Sektor, played Mileena (since I worked so hard to get Costume 3), and some Jax after seeing his monsterous corner stuff. I've been to a couple of CEO events here in Central Florida.

1st one: Pretty early in MK, so I was bad.
2nd one: Hadn't been playing lately, simply was outplayed and had tournament jitters/lots of energy drinks. I was horribly rusty. I played Smoke and ate a ice ball from Sub-Zero at FULL SCREEN. [IMG]

Casually with friends I do very well, but I'm the only one that has really tried to do better. At this point, I'm the best amongst myself and my friends, but still not a threat at tournaments. I'm typically can't go to tournaments (busy schedule due to school and work).

Recently though, I'm planning on running a little tournament for most of my gamer friends. I'm still pretty confident on that one though. Also, I'm dabbling in Sub-Zero for it. (I've never gotten the input bug as much as when I started Sub).

AR Fighting is in the game, thanks to playstationlifestyle.net
"There is a hidden Augmented Reality mode, inspired by the original “Fight Anyone, Anywhere†commercial, tucked away in the game’s Practice mode. It uses the Vita’s rear-camera to superimpose the selected fighters over whatever it is the camera is facing. It’s so damn cool, but is unfortunately relegated to only the Practice mode. To unlock, press triangle at the character select screen to select an arena, then press L and R on the Vita. Shao Kahn will laugh in a sinister way, letting you know that you’ve unlocked the AR mode."

Picked up MK on the Vita, enjoying it ^_^

Planning to practice it when I'm waiting in lobbies, during work breaks, and around bedtime!

I'm planning on getting a Vita when Phantasy Star Online 2 comes out (next year I believe). When I do that, I think I might pick up this game as well.

I love the fact that they put in Tremor, even if the is just Smoke+Jax (CDjr lol).

Yeah this game is sooo much fun, just wish the graphics were a tad bit better, but it's still a great game for $40 which includes everything from the console version plus Kratos from the PS3 version, more outfits and more features.

One other thing, i wish this had a fight again feature in the online feature rather than going back to the lobby each time. Does anyone know if u still win a fight (it adds to ur win streak) when the other player rage quits, cause it counts as a loss for them just like in the console versions.

I think the graphics were at the price of the framerate staying 60 fps, which I think is definitely worth it since you can train with the Vita version when you aren't near a setup.
