Most satisfying move

I love this thread.

My favourites are Reversals.

Especially after an opponent tries a rising attack. Aoi is wicked for this. (I also love Brad's Death Trap reversal, because I nailed a drunken prick in a bar fight once with a similar move after, get this, he threatened my mum!!!)

Another move that has me grinning every time I manage to pull it off (which, admittedly is not very often...) , is Wolf's Stone Cold Stunner (yes, I know, I'm sad). /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

i'm shocked that no one has mentioned the shining wizard yet! when i see someone get hit with that i just want to cry for them.

but my vote for most satisfying move is vanessa's hellhound, her ++ low throw where she crawls all over her opponent and kneees them repeatedly in the face and torso. ouch...

Vanessa's half damage combo.

Grab punch. Do a or + to confuse and set up for throw. + pushes them behind you and stuns them. +, this hook starts the crumple. ,, finishes off the combo. Fricking lovely =)

Oh, and I like when Aoi reverses some of the more obscure moves, like Jacky's somursault(sp).

 

Perfect animation: Aoi's Shoulder Reversal. That simple touch says it all. It's just BE-A-UuuuTiful.

Has anyone ever seen Vanessa's OS + tackle hit a backturned opponent? If you haven't, it's really painful - the nails the opponent, wraps herself around them, rolls over, and then snaps their back. Awesome stuff.

It's satisfying not only because it LOOKS so incredibly cool, but a situation where you would be able to get it off in a real fight is so rare that it just feels like an accomplishment.

 

Oh wow... I didn't know that happened.... I gotta go to training mode now =)

 

I'd have to say Vanessa's wall throws (+ -> +/+) are pretty damn satisfying if you can actually land one of them in a VS match. Very demoralizing. + inashi is pretty cool too. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

 

Oooh... and there's that one throw where she knees you in the head like... 3 times... directly in the head.

Damn it though, I forgot how to do it....

 

That's one of the OS low throws.

 

I would love to pull off Kage's wall throw. Not too many people remember to do it in a fight.

 

Also Vanessa's low throw combo in the OS. and then any other throw after that. Quite a lot of damage done there if you don't expect it.

 

The most satisfying for me is goh's
he kicks out one leg, then the other, then a kick square in the face, wow, awesome

doing a reversal on almost every attack with akira or aoi was always fun

Akira's just about made me jiz whenever i pulled it off in kumite
and SPoD always feels good cuz it takes off 70 and its just cool

and gohs from grab always makes me happy

 

Pai's 270 throw. It's just so pretty.
Goh's elbow counter hit to throw. His trip is funny as hell. I did it on my friends TR and they had this look on their face that was hilarious.
Aoi's rising elbow counter hit to throw is cool. And for some reason I love her shoulder reversal. Chop to the neck.

 

Also this isn't really a move, but after a hard match against a charater that I dislike, its pretty goddamned satisfying to see Goh twist his foot on them and kick them. christ its harcore

 

I like shun's 270 throw...just because he looks so satisfied with that big 5-point drink he has at the end. That and of course the Giant Swing.
