I saw SF4 on the On-Demand games for download on LIVE... I'm kinda tempted to buy it so I don't have to switch disks to play it.

It's pretty hard to justify spending another $20 bucks for something I already have just cause I'm too lazy to swap out a disk. [IMG]

I just realised I cant play MK Deadly Alliance online anymore. This freaking sucks balls. After I finally added more than 4 buttons(VF5 only needs 4) to my arcade stick, I was going to get around to playin MK DA, and actually get off a fatality online this time.

A game like MK DA, that was immortalized in "The 40 year old virgin " should be spared from getting the Axe from XBL. Shit make XBL PLATINUM, charge $5 extra bucks a month, and include the ability to play XB1 games online.

And Master Po, saying VF5 isn't worth buying a 360 for is blasphemous . A used 360 with a hard drive is $170. God damn you cant be that cheap. I have a PS3 and a VSHG, but I'll be damned if I let fanboyism keep me from playing VF5 online. Virtua Fighter 5 promotes bipartisan gaming. So does GTA 4. I was totally going to buy episodes from liberty city for 360, as soon as I finshed GTA4. Despite what I thought of the fairness of the DLC exclusive deal.

    guillotine,

UR right it is blasphemous. The only face saving factor here is that I have VF5 for the PS3, if there were no PS3 version, then my choice would have been VF Evo on a PS2 vs VF5 on Xbox live. I don't think I could have even given XBox Live the nod under those
circumstances. They eventually sodomize all of their customers.
4 me, that just to high a price to pay to play VF5 [IMG]

So, tell me Master Po, what if Sega decides to make VF5R exclusive to Xbox 360? Are you going to stick to your Ps3 Virtua Fighter 5 version B guns?

A single console household just doesn't work well. You fall into fanboy denial when the console you don't have gets an exclusive . It makes you say retarded things like "Metal Gear Solid 4 is more a movie than a game". Yeah right, borrow a PS3 and MGS4, and get on Metal Gear Online so I can snap your neck 50 games straight and rank up from a lvl 13 to 14. Tell yourself "It's just a movie " as you get owned: tranq darted in the neck, disarmed and headshotted.

Charging for XBL sucks , but it's worth it if it give us a centralised online infrastructure that Microsoft controls and most importantly pays all the cost to maintain. Microsoft paying the maintainnance costs for XBL allows cash strapped companies like Sega to put their games online. That's the other reason Sega never put VF5 online on PSN, Sega would have to pay the cost of running it.

Sadly, I am a Playstation fanboy. Just toooooo much investment
to let that go. If the next version of VF is an Xbox exclusive, then I guess I'll be stuck at VF5. That's what happened with me and DOA. I have DOA2 for the PS2, once they became XBox exclusives, they lost a customer. Rumor is DOA will be on PS3 late this year or early next year.

Speaking of Metal Gear,. [IMG] I think you have snapped my neck a few times. Level 13 or 14, [IMG] that's my game, but I'm only at Level 3, I only play TDM, I hope one day to make to Level 4 [IMG] I have mastered a couple of weapon classes though.

Metal Gear is more than a movie, more than a game, its a masterpiece. Of course that's comin from a Metal Gear Fanboy,

And I don't think we ever have to wory about Kojima-san pullin
    the plug.

My condolences for the XBOX folks [IMG]

I hate to say it but I've never understood this phenomenon of people willing to bend over and get dicked by a company so hard.

You guys do realize that Xbox Live is all Peer to Peer, right? Even the voice chat. That means it's using YOUR bandwidth, not microsoft's, to run the online infrastructure. Paying $50 to use your own connection is just a terrible practice. I've forked out twice, since it is so tempting to just let it ride, but at this point I'd rather put that $50 toward a new game or somethin', damn.

On xbl you can report people for pulling, or doing other types of stupid shit that you can't on ps3... Not to mention there's way more crap to buy on xbl vs psn... There's little things that xbl does also, like free full games, and the ability to have a gametag that doesn't require _ or - in it... I have both systems, so I'm not biased at all... I do find that more skilled players of fighting games get ps3, while fps pros get x360, with the exception of a few games (VF5 of course, BB, and T6)... Both companies screwed alot of cats out of backwards compatibility, especially with the new ps3 slim... Not only that, the OtherOS option has been removed, so Linux enthusiasts, and even Vista/7 enthusiasts can't have their OS on their ps3 without doing a hack, or neglecting to update... So honestly, both companies screw their people over... You get what you pay for though, whether its $50 a month or $0 a month...
