definitely random metal (fav. epic metal), japanese soundtracks (berserk, hokuto no ken, so on...), good music in general.
The best music is the sound of the nature (especially the storm, everywhere u are).

Wow, that was a pretty good beat, reminds me of the Neptunes!

It's funny how Japanese can take American style hip-hop R&B and either completely ruin it, or really improve it. This video is a good example of the latter.

Edit: Wow! That japanese rapper sounds like a Japanese version of Biggie Smalls!! CRAZY!

Nah, the only thing he had in common with Biggie was the double chin /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Sowelu is a good japanese hip hop vocalist. Unfortunately, her solo work sucks pretty bad.

If you like that kind of music, I recommend m-flo.

    Here are some examples.
    Tripod Baby

    The Love Bug

    Miss You
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=-tcH4PGYsF8&search=m-flo

    Lotta Love
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=RevU6AmSF-s&search=m-flo

Ever since m-flo's original vocalist left to pursue solo work, they've been working with different vocalist in case you wonder why it's different in all of them.

Hmm youtube is useful, here are some vids to my other suggestions.

    Tokyo Jihen

I can't find any vids of Bonnie Pink's better songs, but her best album imo is "present".

The new Misery SIgnals got leaked, but unfortunately it's not nearly as good as their first album. It really sounds like some other band trying to imitate Misry Signals and not really pulling it off. There are a couple noteable songs, but overall very mediocre. It's a shame, they were really the only good metalcore band.

I've been listening to the new Anata, Neuraxis - Trilateral Progression, and some French black metal band called Mystic Forest.

Dang Godeater, you're (partly) babbling right up my alley...
Peter Gabriel, Van Morrison, Aimee Mann, Randy Newman

In general I have a large collection of songs from a limited amount of artists so whenever I talk about what I'm listening to it usually ends up being the name of the artist...

    Lately though:
    KT Tunstall (there ya go...)
Roxette (no, I'm serious! I've been spinning their first two albums to bits)
White Stripes (I get on and off periods with that pair)
Vangelis (just the Bladerunner OST mostly)
King Crimson (up until the year '89, I don't much like their later work)
Saybia (Norwegian sappy dudes, mesmerizing vocals)
Bloc Party (the Cure meets rap or something)
A-Ha (other way around from Roxette, not the 80's stuff but rather year 2000 and later, yet to listen to their last album though, I got it wrapped up as a present for my brother)
Randy Newman's Faust (dissing the church with dignity)
Manic Street Preachers (never wrote anything but protest songs, I respect that)
Sinead O Connor (Nothing compares to her ^_^ )
Cranberries (another woman with a powerful voice)

Aside: those last two really need to make a comeback...

I've got a complete Alan Parsons/Eric Woolfson collection, but they're on the backburner.

Right now these are the albums I'm listening to the most:

    Air - Talkie Walkie
    Air - Moon Safari
Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children
Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
    Radiohead - Kid A
    Radiohead - OK Computer
    Tool - 10,000 Days
    The Who - Who's Next

Just bought Van Morrison - Astral Weeks and Bjork - Vespertine last night, so I'll probably be listening to those pretty soon.

I agree, Air is great. RSW introduced me to them some years back.

    Elevator Action Returns!!

I just finished listening to 'Disarm' by the Smashing Pumpkins.

"Elevator Action Returns" has jazzy numbers that give off a great mood - that sense of espionage that I enjoy in these types of games. Very stylish... I uploaded two of my favorite tracks from Nights and EAR OSTs in particular:

    Elevator Action Returns:

    Colors of Night

    Nights into Dreams:

    Klawz Battle

Also here are some great sites for OSTs:

Galbadia Hotel (DO NOT DIRECT LINK ANY OF THESE FILES)

    and

Gamingforce (sign up for access to an ftp with loads of stuff)
