I agree with Kokujin on the lazy part, because Capcom could do better from my personal view. However, since they are making two separate games, it's better this way to see what people's preference are. It's either or both.

I can't help but to think that Street fighter characters in Namco graphics will look great to me, not to mention a possibility for their movelist to be longer as Tekken characters. This is what I'm hoping for.

:p optimistic (about FS i guess). Well i'm not so optimistic. SEGA is fucking his fans since... idk too much now. Actually i asked to a friend to tell me the futur with cards, and my friend told me vf5FS won't come to consoles... ok that's a joke, but the cards things is real XD. What i want to say, actually the card's word it's more or less the same of SEGA: Nobody trust them.

I think you'd have to be purposely argumentative to not admit it's at least a good game.

A mi llion bazjillion sales in the f irst month across both of these titles?

A silly amount of money hauled in by both companies?

Some other fighting game from those companies announced within a year after the release of these upcoming titles?

    Holy marketing, Batman.

Those guys know how to do their job. Respect for that.

It's mediocre at best with a huge production value, and that's me being kind.

TBH, now is the time to release FS while fighters are on the map, not when their dead again. All these fighters coming is a good thing, brings attention to the genre and easier consumer awareness. Same thing has happened with shooters.

Believe it or not people buy more than one fighter (specially casuals). The key is for SEGA to NOT release is at the same time/day as other fighter ala Reasonce of Fate comes out the same day as FF13... brilliant SEGA. ROF is a better game too. Space FS within a down period.. aleast 2 months before and after another fighter release. Plus market the fucking game! Look at Sony and Bulter, market the shit, casual aren't searching the web for fighters, they see the game on a TV spot on spike and say "Oh, shit colors and rap music, might pick that up!"

You guys act like your scared for FS to go up against other fighters, if its a better fighter, then SEGA needs to just get it in to the hands of the people, get the name out there. Steal a page from Capcom's book and market the mofo. You can sell shit on a wood chip if you can market it (won't name any names.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Tekken 6 fall well below sales expectations in the US? This just reeks of a quick cash-in, like Seidon said.

As for FS getting canned, I'd rather not know that they started work on it and dropped it due to this garbage.

Supposedly these games won't be out until 2013.

I think there is room for VF in mid-2012

Same or 2011. If I got to wait till 2012 for FS, I hope they add two more fighters.
