It’s amazing how good Kyasao is with other characters. The first clip shows how awesome Kyasao’s Jeffry is. I just wanted to point out that the tbzone clip "match2final4.avi" is really entertaining, mostly because morigan is the best female player I've seen and you can't help rooting for her. She takes out a brad player who in turn took out moonsuk, who plays reaaally strong. Moonsuk's first matches made me think of his brother.

Yeah, Morigan was very impressive. Moonsuk is Moonsuk as usual. I was also impressed by Zzangmu's Jacky in "3rdplacematch.avi" against the Brad player. Also, in a previous TBzone clip ("match1final4.avi") Zzanngmu makes an awesome comeback against ShinZ. /versus/images/icons/cool.gif

 

^^^ It's the first time I see Moonsuk defeat ShinZ. BTW Lei Fei is ShinZ's main charater now? Haven't seen his Akira for a while.

 

That reminds me (sorry to spam the forum with this).
I've been missing out on a LOT of clips due to this trend of "let's put a clip up for 20 minutes then take it down and laugh!"

Any chance you and I can arrange a DCC or FTP session with you to fill in missing movies? I know a lot of them are worth the effort, particularly goalla's homestay akira clips.

 

Indeed, does everyone see why I like Ohsu's Vanessa so much now? Incredible OS play. Him, Kurita, and Shivanessa are the people I try and learn the most from.

Aoi could always inashi down attacks, since at least version B.

 

I know, /versus/images/icons/smirk.gif but I thought the opponent never had a chance to recover fast enough to avoid the stomp. The more I think about it, in Ver. C you can always get the stomp out, but it connects just as the opponent starts to move, so I guess it makes sense that Aoi has enough time to inashi it. I've just never thought of trying it because I assumed the stomp after that throw was guaranteed.


Edit: I tried reversing Lau's df+K after his bf+P+G throw on PS2 and it never works. After watching that Evo Ver.B clip, it makes me wonder just how many other moves are now easier to counter.
