Hey all, I'm new here too so just introducing myself. I made an account a while ago but have since forgotten about it until now >.>

I've always loved fighting games yet oddly enough I've never owned a Playstation of any kind until recently (bought a PS3). I love playing the DOA series, Soul Calibur, Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, etc, although because of not owning a PS2 I've never played Tekken or VF outside of occasionally playing at an arcade cabinet at the movie theatre (and doing very poorly of course).

In DOA I liked Brad the most, so naturally I was really excited about Shun when I first saw him, however when I finally got my hands on VF5 I ended up picking Akira. I just couldn't get enough of his explosive attacks that made him look so damn powerful, and I've always been a fan of one-shot style fighters (Slayer in GG for example).

I keep hearing how Akira shouldn't be used by newbs and such, and since I've been using him I can definitely see why but I still enjoy playing with him so I'll continue doing so although I do intend to pick up Shun later on.

Oh also, feel free to add my GT as I'd love to fight some cool people online who actually speak.

 

Hummm well my GT is Jazdero...what else...my character's Pai and that's it hehehe.. and i hate Manbotan...

hi folks, im new to playing this game "online." i have achieved 1000/1000. now that i have started playing online i realise just how little i have learned! i picked akira to complete quest mode.

now that i have played more online games i am beginning to understand frame rates and side stepping maneuvers, so i am getting better now /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

i have started playing as wolf and pai now to.

Hey all, 34-year-old VF5 noob from Atlanta. I picked up VF5 and a Hori Fighting Stick EX2 for my 360 a while back, and I'm looking to learn the ropes and put them to good use.

Right now I'm using Lau Chan as my main guy. I did a bit of reading up and found that he was the consensus noob choice. I'm sure I'll be informed of my ignorance soon enough. Glad to be here!

I've pretty much just taken him into the Dojo. I've also played some unranked matches, and even won a few, but I can't say I remotely know what I'm doing. ;-)

I have some questions about how to set up the button mappings on my Hori stick, but I'll take them to another area of the forum.

 

I'm Antonio. Many people call me Tony. I've been playing fighting games since the original Street Fighter II. I first played Virtua Fighter when the first one came out. However, I never played the third one, but I have played all of the others. VF5 is definitely the best one, even though they took out all of the training mode besides free sparring (tutorials, tactics exercises, etc.).

Hi I'm Chris or suzzopher as I known across the net. I have been a fan of the series since day 1 Euro launch of the VF arcade machine. And Kage Maru is my fighter of choice since that day. I only have a 360 right now so will be up for games on Live if people are planning tournaments etc.

I've dabbled in VF since 4 came out, but have never put too much into it--I hope to change that.

I have a baseline understanding of Kage, but I'm not really very good yet.

I hope to meet some friends here, and to get good enough to offer them some competition.

 

Hi everybody, My Virtua Fighter name is HappyBunny. (p.s. I don't like the character Happy Bunny) I mainly play Pai, and I've been playing Virtua Fighter for about a year. The first virtua fighter game I played was evo. But we own all the virtua fighter games. ^^

P.S. I don't have a x-box live account, but I have been working hard on Pai in Quest mode.
