    Hi everyone ^^
I'm new to all the Virtua Fighter universe (well I did play a bit on the dreamcast but I did hate it at the time lol).
I've bought the game last week and I do like the last version of the game.

I am used to fighting games (playing Doa, Soul Calibur, Street fighter, Brawl and others...) and I did read a lot of faq for Virtua Fighter hoping it will help me XD

I am playing with Aoi... and I did check the tier list and I know she is not that high ! I prefer to play with a char that I like seeing instead of some others... Anyway, I am playing online several times a week, so I hope to meet some people out there while playing ^^

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the tier list in VF.

Welcome to VFDC, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Hey everybody. I recently got into the Virtua Fighter series after picking up VF5 last year. I'm not really skilled in it, but I do like to play it none the less. I like to use El Blaze, Eileen, and Pai a lot since I'm pretty decent with them.

Also, I enjoy playing Dead or Alive 4 as well. XD

    Hi guys,

I just bought VF 5 for the X360 and loving it.

I've played VF since it first arcade game but never took it much seriously.

Now I'm trying to learn the system and also I've bought a Hori stick to improve my play /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I use Sarah most of my fights.

    See you online!

Hello there, folks! I only have a PS2 so I’ve discovered the joys of VF4: Evo. My brother–in–law (who has a PS3) bought VF5 so I’ve decided to play that against him on the occasions I go over, but he prefers car racing games to fighting ones.

I used to dismiss VF when I started taking an active interest in fighting games, and indeed even now I don’t like many of the characters, but when I started playing VF4 Evo I realised why so many people swear by the VF series. It has such depth, and I don’t think I’ve encountered as comprehensive a tutorial system in a fighting game in all my life!

I like using Sarah and sometimes Jacky, though I want to learn Brad Burns because I love kickboxing. Well, boxing really. I hated that annoying brat known as Lion, but boy does he have an awesome style of fighting! I think I’ll stick with Sarah and Jacky for the moment.

Any advice regarding how to proceed (aside from fighting real people, obviously)?

VF4: Evo has what many consider the best training mode in fighting game history. Nearly everything you need to know about VF can be found in the advanced tutorials. Aside from that, the quest mode AI is pretty decent, and will give you a run for your money at the higher levels. Playing other people is important, but quest mode will give you the reflexes you need.
