Mediocre Canadian FG player.

Mostly play Third Strike and UMVC3. Been playing more KOF13 lately and decided to add VF5 to the mix.

I always fail miserably when I try to pick up 3D games, but this could be the one! I have more fun in training mode with it already... (Than Tekken or Soul Calibur).

I picked Jacky. I learned one bad combo and went online; was about 5-30 before I decided to try and actually go learn something.

Now I'm playing Goh, and I'm not trolling, watching Haunts play on "The Daily Blow-Up" is what made me want to try this game.

Don't post much in forums, but if you see me around online, you know what the deal is... I'm legitimately trying my hardest, I'm just that bad.

 

Where in Canada do you live? Also sorry I trashed your idol haunts.. ^_^"

Hey guys I haven't played a VF game since VF 2 in the arcades but just picked up VF5:FS and damn this has to be the best fighter I've played in a loooong time.

Hi my name is Ahrmon A.K.A. blk_brotha I am new member here on VFDC. I've been on SRK since May '01, and TZ since May 05'. I want to give this site a try and I have been playing VF5FS competitively since it came out on XBL.

Main is Akira, I know how to play Sarah, Lau, Goh, and Brad so far I am still getting use to the mechanics of the game since it's very fast. I want to get better as I keep progressively playing VF.

Hi everyone! This is my first VF and I am pretty new to 3d fighters. I play a little SCV because there are some good players here in Gainesville, FL. I am really loving this game, but unfortunately nobody else here plays much so I have been mostly playing online.

I have kind of hit a wall because in rank there are only a few green bar people who will play me. Some of the higher rank players quit playing me after I beat them a game, and then there are the people who beat me for free and don't want to play me. I don't really care about my rank, but it is frustrating when there are like 5 green bar dudes on and only one of them will play me anymore.

I play El Blaze and some Taka. Hopefully I can find some people on here to play and learn from.

 

Hello to all on VFDC. Been visiting the site on and off over the years when I was playing VF4 Evo and VF5. A lot of great info here and the community as a whole seems very inviting and helpful. FS is the first Virtua Fighter that I'm considering mastering, so thought it's time to sign up and get to know other great players. You'll see me on PSN as mfwebdude. I play mainly as Akira right now, with a lot of bad habits and a weak close-up game. I look to improve that as I continue to meet all you experienced fighters. IRL I've played kingofvf4 (WTF? he got a F...ing good rank now...) a looooooong time ago. He only kick my butt online for now because I lost everything from the time I was playing VF4... I'm totally free for players who've got a bit of experience. I've noticed they're all from here.

Time to level up! On VFDC reading everything about PAI and other characters that are a "problem" for me now.

me and my sister used to love playing virtual fighters 4 on ps2 years ago but then one day we found it broken and stopped playing it.but decided to get back in it with FS.hope to get good at this game though will take some time because there are serious flaws in my game.I main jacky but also like to use elieen,venessa,and lion.hopefully i can play and learn alot from you guys.

So last night (or was it the night before?) I played Vencobat (maybe it was Vancabot) like five times (perhaps it was 10) and during his muffled mic colloquy during the games I heard him tell me to check out VFBC. So I googled it. And it was a site telling me to direct my thoughts to our Lord Jesus.

So I tried VFDC in googled instead. And now here I am. I'm guessing this is where Voncobat was trying to direct me to.

I'm new to VF and just started playing VF5 FS on June 8... which is the date I got it from the psn network. And no, I'm not looking for advice because this game is just my current diversion until another game comes along that interests me. I spend no time training in the dojo, have no idea what things like 9kk mean (cha-mame tried explaining it to me after we had played for a while) have no idea what my "safe" moves are, and have no intention at all to dedicate every single spare minute of my free time to get to "tournament level" which in the end would grant me nothing in life anyways.

Hi everyone!

VF5:FS is the first VF game I've actually played. Previously i was a little bit intimidated by its reputation of being a hard to get into, highly technical game. I downloaded VF5:FS as i have a PsPlus account and decided to give it a go. I have to say LA Akira's videos on UltraChen's channel on Youtube were really amazing as i understood the game enough and basically I'm now in love with it.

I've decided to go with Jean as my main char as i've found him pretty much straightforward and easy to understand for me as a beginner.

My friends are not really into the game, so if you want to have some online matches, my PSN ID is OlmecusMX.
