Err no chance I'm afraid. I have my Goh as does Elite. Atm I'll put it back to 29th just to allow for more peeps to play but I'll get ramsey to text you with details.

OK fair enough about Goh, I was mainly only gonna mess around with him (I still find him a bit slow).

Hehe yeah but everyones slow compared to Pai and Sarah. Goh is not really a "combo" character like Akira but he has a sick throwing game and countless excellent flow charts. Got my file up to Hero now. I'll get him to champion then work on the others (this is Akira btw). You can still use Goh but it'd just have to be "default Goh" though I can still write down your win-loss stuff. Me and Steev had a few good games last night. Hes getting better with Brad, have to unlock him some good items. Might use Vanessa a bit next time...or even Aoi. Choices, choices... HEEEEEEEE HEEEEEEEEEEEE Thats right I'm one Petay pan flyyin invincible motha fucker umm huuu thats right!

If you wanna learn Goh for serious then I can give you some tips on what moves I like in different situations. Up to you, I dunno if you wanna stick to your other characters.

Heh, with a few mix ups it actually works quite well against humans. They have to fear the big scary shoulder ram since it just restarts the whole stagger. They struggle and guard and they're open to the deadly +, /+ which also comes out of a crouch dash. The elbow hit-throw is a nice variation too if you anticipate an attack since it leaves you safer on guard. I sometimes throw in his low punch sabaki too just because it's stylish when it works.

22nd or 29th are both fine for me since I don't work weekends anymore (they are weekends right?)

P.S. I like your enthusiasm Ade over my offer of Goh help, I can tell you're keen to learn /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif jk

Yeah I messed about a bit with the shrm a lot vs com but at higher levels they just go "errr no way dude" and either block it or evade it. After a good stagger of the shrm I sometimes like to try get a gut collapse with + or with which you can follow with a tsukami throw or low throw or > >possible ground throw. can sometimes work well as you'll get the counter you need to combo with. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yeah the dates are both saturdays btw. At the moment I'm leaning towards the 29th.

Don't worry about Ade though. The only internet access he has is in his work...but all the staff where he works are banned from using it because one of them "used it improperly".......yes he was into porn. So Ade can only reply every now and again if at all. When he does reply hes risking trouble from his boss!

Ah, shame about the porn thing. 29th sounds good, I hope everyone else can make it too. It would be cool if we had enough people to do a proper tourny thing (knock-out).

Sat 29th Nov: Manchester Gathering

Okay I'll stick my neck out and say 29th of november for definate...so hopefully we can squeeze one into december too before I go back to Liverpool. Lets call it 11.00 in the morning till 4 ish (much like last time). Meeting point will probably be the jag garage again since everyone is familiar with it. I'll try and plan out some matches before hand though we'll still have a warm up session in the morning again.

Any requests snack wise??? I'll stock up on some junk food and just leave it on the table for peeps to help themselves to like last time. Can everyone try to leave me a message here to let me know if they are coming.

Actaully to mess things round a bit lets call it

10.30 till 4 ish

like last time. It 'll give peeps a chance to be a little late meeting up but still enough time for everyone to get warmed up and get a few matches in. Confirmed we have:

me, Andy, Shaun, Steev, Ramsey...I'm assuming Ade and Darius will be no problem....only thing is that leaves 7....if anyone can get one more player let me know and we can do a proper tourney thing.

btw I ' d say we WON'T be playing for money this time maybe the next meet would be a good time to start that. Oh and Dural is banned too!

Anyways good to hear that it wont just be the 4 of us. Glad Ramsey will be there since I think I only had one match against him and his mighty +

I'll be bringing my memory card along this time too since it will be interesting to watch the replays at home. Quick question, can you copy individual replays from one card to another or does it have to be the whole caboodle?

A guy called Will contacted me after seeing the thread (hes not a member here) and says he wants to come...making the present numbers up to 8. YEAH! Hopefully we have no drop outs till the 29th.

Some of the replays he saved are particularly good ones. Some are shit hehe but theres a good one of me and you Andy...dunno if you can remember it but it was a nailbiter of a 5th round. We both literally had slivers of life life and you ended me with a LP. SIGH so close.
