I personally think it's great you've been to London Shaun, what was the scoreline like? (I'm assuming it was mainly Akira V Jacky?).

Played VF for the first time in ages last night, sticking with just Kage now, I don't play the game enough to warrant using more than one character TBH.

Shaun, who did you play in Troc? Did you play any Tekken 5?

Well, to try and keep my mind occupied after recent events, just been playing DMC3 (had it for months and only played a little). It's quite good, probably better than 2 (even tho I liked that) but still not as good as 1 IMHO.

Only using Akira atm, tho I am going to blow the dust off my Aoi play and brush up on it.

Oh and my dad's agreed to get me the Namco stick as a graduation present so I don't have to worry about buying it...should have it very soon.

Oh yeah, I'm on 7pm 9th July ITV.

It's not this saturday but the next one.

I was going to wear my VF t shirt and drop in loads of random stuff but we couldnt wear anything with a brand name on and I barely got interviewed at all and didn't manage to drop in any comments about VF or VF players.

In fact, the only real time you'll see me on camera I'll be saying something like,

"Well, I don't mind grafting!"

or

"Well, gardens nearly finished, just been planting flowers there, need to finish the herb circle, more turf to lay there, decking's down, and conservatory is nearly finished, it's going well"

oh and one comical point (which we needed to re-film 5 times so I will probably look either stupid on it or pissed off) was a shouting conversation across the garden:

Jen: Chris?

Me: Yeah?

Jen: We're gonna make you gardener of the week too.

Me: Haha ok.


LOL I can't wait to see what it looks like. Tho just one thing, the guy supposedly "in charge", Dean, actually did fuck all every single day. He's on film and it looks like he does stuff but he don't!

LOL I can hardly change the topic of interview conversation from Jenny Ellison and what I think about her or what challenges we have to do etc to playing VF and my mates who play VF LMAO.

You are the official organiser of the North UK VF meetings, and creator of the North UK VF thread. You could have blagged them all with your supreme knowledge of frames/flow charts/max damage combos e.t.c.
Then we could all laugh at them for not knowing what you were talking about......

Now that I think about it, I think the show should have been based around you and Jennifer Ellison would only be on it as one of YOUR friends from school.

Your challenge is to renovate an old bombed out house into a VF addicts dream...6 set ups in 3 rooms on the ground floor, a special kitchen extension that ONLY deals with snack foods and has subway/pizza hut/macdonalds food and staff there to cater for every need, a special chill out set of rooms upstairs with beds for those who need to sleep and every copy of Arcadia ever, complete with up to the minute frame lists, combos and techs. The garden needs to be turfed and 3 more weather-resistant set ups are to be placed outside for VF in the summer as well as a bbq and 8 foot high garden fences to avoid having to deal with the neighbours.

The first challenge is...attempting to get more than about 6 people in the area to play the game in the first place!!.... /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

So, is it really a "holiday" or is it a "lady hunt/beermonster/drugmad lads getaway"?

Can't believe this, the summer job my dad said he had sorted for me (via an uncle of mine) actually doesn't exist now as it has been taken...there were 75 people fighting for 30 places and when I rang up about it yday I found that they were already into the second round of interviews and the jobs would be starting monday! Damn.

Once I have the qualifications I want, like a real man, I will do.

But seen as tho I'm getting paid for research from 1st sept, I need vacational work from July to August to tide me over.

Ugh I'm having namco nightmares atm.

I won it off ebay on 6th june. I was supposed to be getting my deposit back from my accomodation by then (£238). I've still had nothing back and seen as tho I'm maxed out on 2 overdrafts (£1500 and £500) and dont have a job I have no money to get it.

Dad said he'd sort it out but we found out he cant actually pay for the item as I bought it...long story short, dad is driving up to nottingham next wed to pick it up off the guy (whilst visiting one of my sisters up there too).

But then he's taking another sister down to cambridge to look at unis straight away! So I wont get it until friday maybe!
