    RAP stick

Just to keep this thread alive, Shaun how's the RAP going? I should be getting my namco tonight or tomorrow.

How do you find diagonals these days? A good way to get used to them is to start box stepping:

    [4][4] > evade ([8]/[2]) > [3][3]

You can start to cancel CDs with [G] too once you get more ambitious so you can do little jittery movements like:

    evade > [3][3][G] repeat

Another one (Ade likes to use) is

    [1][1] > [6][6] repeat

I still find my inputs less accurate than they were on a pad, but I'll keep going.

My inputs are MUCH better than on my RAP than they were on my Namco, as Chris said, my favourite movement is [1][1] [6][6]. Practise this on free training, as it will loosen your stick up . I did a bit of practising with Jacky last night (not touched Sarah in MONTHS).

Also, a recommendation is to use the RAP on a table, not on your knees. My input's increase tenfold for me.

Always use a table if one is available.

Best defensive technique in the game

Chris those steps suck, you should try the Andy-step that I just invented...

    [4][4], [8], [7_]+[K](hold), [6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6][6], [8][P]+[K]

Only works for Kage (give it a try Ade) and probably only I can do it right.

    Super hardkore invinsable!1111111111111

    Namco stick

In other news...I finally got my Namco Ade. It's well top. mint condition, everythings great with it.

Feels easier to WD with it than a SC2 stick and getting electrics is well easy (from p2 side at least atm lol). Even Heihachis electric is easy on it.

Just playing loads to unlock devil jin...

No one cares about Tekken, and if they do, they should hit themselves and play VF more......

Devil Jin's b+1,df+2 is a great move, but I personally prefer Kazuya and Heihachi in Tekken 5.

Actually been rinsing VF over the last two days (wonder's will never cease LOL!) and getting my stepping back). Kage and Sarah are still my best two character's, even though my Jacky is still not too bad, although it isn't much of a stretch going from Sarah to Jacky TBH. My Lau and Akira still, suck, for want of a better phrase! But never mind, at least I admit it!

We need another session, I've not seen Mye in MONTHS, no txt's, nothing, hope he's OK, and I NEED TO PLAY HIM, No VF comp. is driving me nuts! AAAAAARGH!

Yeah but on Quest mode/Free training + no human comp + no money to travel and play human players = Opposite of fun in VF respects.

    TV Time

    LMAO

Well, kinda as I thought would happen, I didnt get shown once on camera in an interview (probably due to my anti-photogenic looks) but there were quite a few glimpses of me doing what I did best...hard graft.

It's strange the way they did it tho, loads of nice girls didn't get much focus at all on the tv even tho they were doing well with the work and could "work the camera".

Oh and we were NEVER behind schedule either, in editing the program they chopped up bits from one day to the next to make it look as tho we almost missed the deadline.

Jamie Theakston was actually there for around 10 mins and that Dean did NOTHING constructive.

Still, it was a fun brush with fame.

PS Dan, they did interview me a few times, obviously they thought it best to put girls on camera in the show as opposed to me lol.

LOL, good to see you on TV. Jamie Theakston still looks like a twat IMHO.

Been mastering stepping over the weekend, will have to show you all (in about a fucking year or so probably LOL).

Chris, you never said a single word, and the few shots of you we saw you were either planting plants or standing at the back doing nothing.

Aren't you annoyed that you got generalised as a hairdresser, or some other pansy assed job.
You should have busted out your 1st Masters degree in quantum physics, and told them all to bow at your feet.

    Re: TV Time

To be quite honest, yeah I was a bit gutted with what they showed of me. I mean I did sooo much of that garden and all you ever saw of me was in the background like you say. (Starting from the top I; dug the path for the central mound, shovelled and layed 6 tonnes of top soil, planted hedges, trees and plants, put up almost the entire straw fencing, raked and then layed turf on the mound, set a few hundred of the kerbing stones in place, helped carry the kitchen into the house, stripped the wall paper, fixed a garden chair...the list goes on)

Having said that, the other 2 guys there Terry and Simon got even LESS air time so I can't complain too much.

They made a bit of a fuss over Michael Roberts (guy I used to play rugby with in school) and the 2 dancing guys were USELESS.

It's funny as the girls who were always getting interviewed were the very girls who did NOTHING at all.
