I think the best place to meet is outside the Palace, just oppsite the Sainsburys Local...you know the one just opposite Oxford Rd station when you come out of it?

I think that'd be the best place to meet as then it's only about a 5 min walk to my place I think.

I'm crosing my fingers I'm living with some decent people for this year, I want to move out into a flat by next sept but I just hope the peeps I'm with now are ok (and preferably that there are some nice women there too /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif ).

Off to play some VF now!

I used to work in St. James's Building next to the Palace Theatre. If shit's happens, I'll meet you in the grand central diagonally across from there.

Apparently the new player coming is using Akira the most nowadays, so ANOTHER Akira player in our team!

I can be at the palace theatre for about 5.30ish, is that OK?

Mum's not even home yet (she finishes work at 5, it's now 7!) so I hope she's getting some petrol from somewhere! I don't think I could face a double round trip to manchester and back the day I move in!

Just thinking, best place to meet you would be the very corner of the palace, just by the crossing (right opposite sainsburys) then it's literally around the corner to grosvenor street to my digs.

Relearning all the combos for Jacky that work on Akira. Been a bit rusty (not played a 2player VF game for 6 months!).

Friday will just be an opportunity to blow the dust off VF for me. Need to get my stepping and throw escaping back on the ball.

Will be using Akira/Kage/Jacky/Sarah/Lau as usual, maybe a dash of Wolf as well.

Anyway, I don't think I've played as much VF in the last 3 days as I have in the past 3 months, LOL.

Then I have an interview at Sony Liverpool (Psygnosis) on Tuesday. The teaching is still the plan but when I got a mail offering an interview at Sony... I couldn't really knock that back could I?

Judging from the picture, it is Big Boss, as he has an eye-patch of sorts, though it does look a little high-tech, I don't know if stuff like that was around in Big Boss's time. One thing though, I think that when Big Boss was as old as the guy in the picture, he had turned 'bad', so it is still possible it is Snake. Only time will tell....

Big Boss' eyepatch was on the other eye.

In the trailer Snake talks to Otacon. It seems to be Solid.

But most MGS trailers appear to be a bit wrong on purpose to prevent giving stuff away.

Oh really? Nice observation.
To tell the truth, I am glad it is back to Snake, all that assing around in the past with Big Boss grew tiresome, because you were playing as the bad guy, but you couldn't do anything bad. Nothing worse than a 'good' bad guy.
They should bring Liquid back, and you should play as him, and for the whole game you should just go around kicking ass. Then Raiden should show up, and start bitching about doing things together, then you get to choose which of your minions you set on him (Ocelot, Mantis, Raven, Wolf, but not Octopus as he was a retard). That would rule!

Any more news on a meeting?

Chris's new place is much nearer to town (near Oxford Street train station), his room is pretty small (same as before) the meet room is a little smaller, but don't think we'll be bothered like before for a meet (Although it won't hold as many unforetunately).

Me and Chris had some top matches on Friday, but to be honest I think we were just blowing the dust off VF. I REALLY enjoyed the matches though, made me remember how much I like Kage and Sarah.

Sup guys ... I'm posting from my own PC at my own desk! LOL I registered yday and already I'm hard at work...on the internet LMAO.

Top games last weekend Ade, the results were as follows;

LMA v SA Akira v Akira 10-3
LMA v SA Akira v Jacky 10-9
LMA v SA Akira v Kage 3-10
LMA v SA Akira v Sarah 7-10

Not bad considering we havent played for ages PLUS the fact that the Akira Sarah first to 10 was at 9 in the morning as soon as we'd just woken up!

In my flat there's 4 chinese guys, 1 Estonian and 1 French guy who I've met so far. It's not too bad, went for a drink with some of them last night. There's a big spaced kitchen and common area, we may be able to have a set up there and one in my room for meets. I'm sure some of the chinese guys must be sick at fighting games.

Ade, getting the Akuma pad today, HMV have them in stock! As well as Ken, Ryu and Chun Li ones! You know you want the Ken one you addict!

Oh yeah new Kelly Brook calendar is out too...time for a mass spending spree in town methinks.

Met up with ramsey too, surely he'll come along to VF meets to boost numbers.

My 1000th post. Whoah, what a mile stone.

Well, as Chris said, some rusty, but decent games last Friday. Looking forward to more this Friday as well.

Chris, finally have made progress on RE1 Remake real survivor, at the guardhouse, but my data corrupted! Luckily I have a save at the cabin, so it's not TOO bad, still a pain in the ass.

Looking forward to meeting these american guys in Jennies, wonder if they play VF as well (As tekken?). Let's hope so.

Nice one on RS, I've started my second Chris file. Have both his costumes so far, am hoping to get the inf handgun. Then will replay Jill's scenario and do the same for her (Jill is far easier than Chris! LOL). Oh and I'm doing so well atm I have 5 ink ribbons and about 30 handgun bullets! I never had that many ever in my 1st run thru at any one time!

(Quick skank, if you have Chris's grenade defense items and want an easy kill on a zombie, just run straight into them, pop it in their mouth, run back and BANG one shot pistol kill).

Are those guys american? wow didn't realise. Will try and organise something back at my place then in that case, will let you know. We're all best meeting at jennies to begin with tho. Texted Shez, Umer and Scott so far about it.

In 40 odd more posts I'll have my 2000th post! Addict!

Just watched Advent Children yesterday, absolutely stunning. The fight scenes are INCREDIBLE!

Did my Sony grad test today, went alright. Will hear back towards the end of the week. Always got the teaching to go on with if they don't want me /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif
