The big fucking deal is that when you play we have to change everything round and then play all YOUR matches in one go and the fact that all you need to do is change set up to A or whatever and I always have to change the frigging setup by hand after every time you've played since I need to assign "no use" to lots of buttons (due to my stick layout) and then set option 1 and option 2 to to shoulder buttons on my stick. And its fucking annoying to do all the fucking time!!!!! Also the set up we use is they way it is in the arcade. If you tried playing in the arcade with your set up...... well you wouldn't be able to!!!! /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Faded: Yeah ok if the control layout is different on the evo sticks its no problem to change. The we could have a sc2 in port 1 and a evo in port 2 or something.

whats circle then? Is it non assisigned? If it is guard then i could alright with the config i guess.

To others:

Ultimately I'm not going to force people into playing in a set up they can't play in, but seen as though I'm the guy who bloody well organises everything and puts everything on you could at least humour me. Of the players in the group its only Darius that "has" to use the gay ps2 default set up. Its not hard to change though! Lets be brutally honest here: Andy and Shaun have used the set up for a relatively short time and yet they still own most of us. (for the record they use their thumb on d pads but hold their right hands as if they are playing on a stick...ie thumb, first then second fingers in a quarter circle.). I can apprecaite its hard going from pad to stick at first and I'm not suggesting people do this but its not that hard at all to change a button config!

Ade: Set up your Brad now , I'll just even up the win ratio on it. btw I'd reccomend we get a few more meets in before we try to assault the london scene.

Faded: I'm glad to hear you've got some more interested in coming down. If I can get a guaranteed largish number of people involved (ie everyone stays true to their word) then I should be able to take over the tv room in my place. Its downstairs from my room and realy big (plus you can smoke there and its got couches). The tvs up on a high bracket though and I don't yet know if it can cope with a ps2 but I'll look into it. No one really uses it anyway so I can't see much problem with using it as long as we keep it nice and tidy.

I'm off to America for Christmas on Tuesday so I won't be reading/posting here 'til I come back (2nd Jan).

I dont want to go on about this anymore after this, as im sure everyone else is as bored with this argument as I am. Its just that I think that when someone gets used to a certain setup its unfair to try to force them to change it. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Thats the last thing I have to say on this subject.

Do you play sc2 with default set up????? If so then X is guard (block) in that too so i don't se any problem at all learning a new config!!!!!!!!

To everyone:

I'm busy now with work for exams and the like but when I get a chnace I'll post all the results from the last meet as well as a leader board of all the fights we've had (saved on mem cards that is) as well as all tourney fights. It won't be 100% accurate since we've had loads of matches that haven't been saved but it'll give the better players a chance to feel slightly under pressure and the weaker players a reason to practice (yeah I nicked the idea from Ryans tier type system but I think it would be cool).

PS Ade: Deluxe SF2 turbo for next time??? I think it would be well sick. Just don't use that bloody guile combo!
