No I wont be able to make it to Edin. im afraid due to lack of money. Elite2 for Gawd's sake stop going on about the fucking top buttons.I didnt know some people didnt like them being used, if I'd known I wouldve learned it without but ask yourself;how much difference is it really gonna make? Seriously theres no need to bang on about it, lets just wait till we meet up again and see how that goes. I wanna stay chilled with the decent people of Virtua Fighter so lets just leave it aye? Anyway hope to get my stick through in under a week so will start learning that. Hope to see you guys soon.

Hey Elite2. Like Chris said, I hope it is all just 'in the name of good natured fun' cos I dont wanna fall out with someone over a stupid little thing like other people on discussion boards do. Shame to hear that my stick may not be that good but Im sure it will do. Trying to get hold of a copy of Street Fighter Anniversary just for laughs in the mean time. Anyone got a *cough* copy that they could transfer to me?

I mean, she's only a few step's off being a porn star, for Chris sake's (Chamone! In the mouth, Baby!)

    Random ramblings

I must admit I was quite taken back by her recent actions. It usually takes a good 6 weeks for any frisky-ness to kick in with the contestents but shes gone right in for it. Ahh what if shes just playing craaaazy miiiiind games with him to stay in!!!???!!!

Can't belive Jen won Hells Kitchen. Whats she gonna do next, head chef at ummm burger king round the corner from me? lol

Yeah I was quite happy with my Akira the other night. I think nailing sgpm-DE is essential now I know some tricks with it. Now its time to rank up those champions baby!

With any luck I'll post some results either today or tomorrow.

    Looking forward to the result's.

On a side note, my mate Mike has gone to Italy to play in a Tekken Tag tournie, I might have to reinvest in tekken in time for Tekken5, I don't want to look crap now! /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif (Although, that's not hard!)

    TFT goodness

Whilst sorting out my room I stumbled across my old gamesmaster magazines with loads of SF2 stuff in and my old vf 4 guide. Ade did you know about these TFT combos:

    TFT > [2][P]+[K] > [4][P][K] > [2][P]+[K][K]

    TFT > [2][P]+[K] > [P][G] > [1][P][P][P][K]

Tried em out n both work on Pai and Jeff (so presumabley they work on everyone) but the range on them is HUGE!!!! Like in the training stage, I'm pretty sure it carries opponents over half the screen.

Oh yeah come up with some evil Guile stuff too. HSF rocks man!

gamesmaster sf2 guide??? funny, if i remember they had to blonde 13 yearolds doing a GUIDE and taking all comer meets!!!
the combos were worse then NMS's sf2 guide VHS video.

and regarding tfts... [2]+[P]+[K], in to X2 back+[P], [K] is better for ring out range
and you can actually do 7 hits with downP+K, jab, jab, ppB+p,k
took like 77hp in vf4, i think it takes between 48-54 now as kage got the combos really scalled now

also hav you seen the corner redizzys with super turbo ken/ or ST OG ken??? fookin sick!

My fave push back TFT combo is [2][P]+[K], [4][P],[K] [1]+[P],[P][4]+[P],[K]. Does 70. I'm dont too sure who it work's on exactly. (I'll test tonight!)

Random: What's Turbo ken's corner redizzy?

    SF2

Lol are you talking about Gaz and Gav? They're the guys in the mag. Man I remember in the old days of Mean Machines before the split to MM Sega and NMS. Still got my old copies round the place.

btw Random have you played the SF2 collections on PS1? I've got both collection 1 and 2. 1 had SSF2, SSF2T and SFalpha dash I think n the second had WW, Champ edition and Turbo. Cool thing was o collection 2 there was deluxe versus where the speed was mental and you could use WW Champ and Turbo fighters against one another.

Whats with the lack of save function on HSF though? Bit annoying changing settings every time plus theres no handicap feature.

The guide I've got isn't a massive one as its for Turbo (when it was £65!!!) and by the time Turbo had come out all mags had done SF2 to death. The combos are nothing special, heres a few:

    GUILE

When in close crouch and charge [1_] hit jab or medium punch follow with a medum sonic boom and hold [6_] and medium kick to end with a knee.

Jump in with a fierce punch charge back [4_] hit fierce punch again and then go for a fierce sonic boom or instead a backfist.

Jump in with any punch charging [2_] hit jab or medium punch then follow with a flash kick.

Yeah they're all pretty basic and theres not many for each char. Theres a nice one for Sagat but I need to test it out. Actually I'm not even sure is what I just wrote is guaranteed or anything I'm just copying it out of the mag. Need to mess round with them more. WW Guile has some sick combos though.

    Re: TFT goodness

Super Turbo ken (and ST OG ken) redizzy is get close, super deep hard punch twards 2in1 to air hurricane, when u land they will be facing BACkWARDS, then a fire dragon will dissy them, then do it again then when u land do crouching Hpunch in to hard hurrican, the timeing is hard but its fookin joke to do it!

those guile combos dont really work, after a close hard p with guile you cant combo in to back fist!!!, the best redizzy is 7jabs while holding forward!!!

the fact that you can save i think is that the game runs in emulation!!! thats why it loads so long at the start but then never loads after!!!

i have played all street fighters, even the 8meg mastersystem one! for me the worst version of super turbo, is street fighter colection, even though capcom 5 was better on saturn!!! hell you can even get the aranged music on capcom5(street fighter colection2) its the same as the aranged music on hyper sf on ps2, but its all taken from the 3DO's super turbo!!!
you can handcuff in capcom 5 but the timeing is diferent!

DC super t is my fave, ive worked out all but 2 of the dip switches:)

    SF2

Yeah I'm a die hard SF2 fan too...got it on my old school game boy even. IN fact also got it on my old spectrum 48k somewhere but the computer ports of it were quite bad.

I'll check out that Ken combo though, sounds nasty.

As a SF2 "purist" I only ever use CPS1 the true music. Guiles stage has to be my all time fav game music ever. The arrange mode sounds like dinner party jazz! Especially on the char select screen lol.

    Re: SF2

SF sure has took up more time than any other fighting game I've ever played and we're all still playing it, even now! That's the sign of a good game IMO.

I'll try that Ken redizzy tonight.

BTW Anyone been watching BB? Victor calling Nadia Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Jimmy Hill the 2nd ranks as one of my favourite moment's ever, that guy has a kick ass violent streak. Finally a BB contestant who realises it's a GAME (well, since 'Nasty Nick' back in 2000) and has a STRATEGY, it makes a change from the fame searching slag's, at least!

" Its only a game soooo put up a real good fight, I'm gonna be snookering you tonight de de de de derr..." Ahh the good old days of Big Break with mr wife beater himself Jim Davidson.

Yeah man Victors dairy room section was actually quite scary. Though he was gonna explode and eat the mike or something he was proper fuming when he was talking about Emma. Only thing that annoys me about him is he has some serious attitude problem about himself being the alpha male LMAO!

Haha was thinking last night, you've got Gollum as clappy happy Marco but u also got Dr Evil as Dan!!!! Scotty DON'T!!!

    BB Lookalikes

LOL Marco does look like Gollum and Dan as Dr. Evil!

Victor defentely has an attitude problem, but it's certainly more interesting than the majority of lamo's in the house. The thing that REALLY annoy's me about BB is that the interesting people normally go first and we're forced into 'Boredom' for the next 7/8 week's.

As for Victor 'Time to get rid of some sucka's. Holla!'
